هندوان و آيين هاي محرم در دكن

آيين‌هاي مرتبط با محرم يكي از با شكوه‌ترين آيين‌هاي شيعي در دكن است. سلاطين مسلمان دكن با آگاهي از اين واقعيت كه اكثريت جامعه دكن را هندوان تشكيل مي‌داده‌اند، براي ايجاد همزيستي ميان مسلمانان و هندوان و نيز فراهم آوردن زمينه‌هاي گسترش تشيع، هندوان را به مشاركت در آيين‌هاي محرم تشويق مي‌كردند. مشاركت هندوان در آيين‌هاي محرم موجب شد كه به‌تدريج اين آيين‌ها تحت تاثير آداب و رسوم محلي، شكلي هندي و بومي به خود بگيرد. اين مقاله به بررسي دلايل و انگيزه‌هاي مشاركت هندوان در برپايي آيين‌هاي محرم و پيامدهاي اين مشاركت از قرن نهم كه تشيع در برخي از مناطق دكن رسميت يافت تا عصر جديد و تسلط بريتانيايي‌ها بر اين منطقه پرداخته است.

Knowing that the majority of Deccan are the Hindus; in order to create coexistence among Muslims and the Hindus; for spreading of Shiite and probably their own reign, the Muslim Sultans of Deccan encouraged Hindus to participate in MuEarram ceremonies. Their participation gradually influenced MuEarram ceremony and took it under the effect of local customs and traditions. This article aims to survey the reasons and motives of Hindus participation in holding MuEarram ceremonies and its consequences and also recognition and formation of Shiite in some Deccan regions since 9/14 AD, up to the period of the British domination over this area.
