The Use of Script on the Book Bindings of Persian Manuscripts Sixteenth/Tenth to NineteenthThirteenth Centuries

بررسي طرح ها، نقش ها و نگاره هاي موجود در جلدهاي دوره هاي مختلف تاريخي تمدن ايران، مي تواند شناخت ما را در خصوص تحولات هنري آن ها افزايش دهد. از جمله اين نوع تحولات، مي توان به سير تحول كاربرد خط و كتيبه سازي يا كتابه سازي بر جلدها اشاره كرد كه از اهميت فراواني، هم در محتواي كتيبه ها و هم در شكل و صورت آن ها، يعني انتخاب و اجراي نوع قلم بر بستر جلد چرمي يا روغني برخوردار است. در اين پژوهش فن كتيبه سازي بر جلدها و ويژگي هاي آن بررسي مستند شده است و به دنبال آن تحولات كاربرد خط در تجليد ايراني با مطالعه ميداني از جلدهاي نفيس موجود در شش گنجينه نسخه هاي خطي در ايران و دو گنجينه نسخ ههاي خطي در خارج از كشور در يك طبقه بندي علمي مورد مداقه و تحليل قرار گرفته است. طبق بررسي هاي صورت گرفته در اين مقاله، تحولات كاربرد خط در تجليد نسخ حوزه تمدن ايران از سده شانزدهم/ دهم تا نوزدهم/ سيزدهم را مي توان در كي طبقه بندي ششگانه خطوط نسخ، ثلث، نستعليق، ريحان، رقاع و خطوط تر يكبي ارايه كرد. اهداف مقاله -1 بررسي ويژگي هاي فن كتيبه يا كتابه سازي بر جلدهاي ايراني -2 بررسي نوع و موضوع كتيبه هاي جلدهاي ايراني سوالات مقاله -1 موضوع كتيبه يا كتابه هاي جلدهاي تمدن ايراني كدام است؟ -2 تحولات كاربرد خط در تجليد ايراني چگونه بوده است؟

The patterns, designs and paintings of the book-bindings of the various stages of Persian history reveal useful information about the artistic alterations of each era. Among the changes, the evolution of the use of scripts and inscriptions applied on the bindings can be focused upon. The analysis of features is highly significant both in terms of conceptual issues and physical form of the item in regard to the choice of pens used on leather or oily surfaces. In this research, the technique of creating inscriptional features on book bindings are discussed; furthermore, through a distinctive study, the changes of this art in various eras are classified by studying works from six national and two international museums and collections. According to the results, the evolution of the use of inscriptions on the book bindings of Persian manuscripts of the sixteenth/tenth to nineteenth/thirteenth centuries can be categorized into the scripts of Naskh , Thulth , Nasta’liq , Reyhan , Regah and combined calligraphy. Aim of the research: 1.Investigating the characteristics of inscriptions on Persian book bindings. 2.Analyzing the form and meaning of the inscriptions. Research questions: 1.What are the most applied topics depicted in the inscriptions of Persian book bindings? 2.How is the evolution of the inscriptional scripts of the book bindings carried out?
