Review and Critique of Theories of Economic Justice in the Twentieth Century

نيمه دوم قرن بيستم، شاهد تولد چندين نظريه مهم عدالت در انديشه ليبرال بود كه تلاش مي‌كردند مبنايي غيرسوسياليستي براي عدالت اقتصادي فراهم كنند. شناخت و ارزيابي اين نظريه‌‌ها كه روي بسياري از سياستگذاري‌هاي ملي و بين‌المللي موثر هستند، مقدمه لازمي براي تكميل بنيان‌هاي تحليلي دانشمندان اجتماعي و در نهايت بهبود سياستگذاري‌هاي عدالت‌محور در كشور به‌شمار مي‌رود. در اين مقاله پنج نظريه برجسته از عدالت اقتصادي كه در دهه‌هاي اخير نمايندگان مبرزي داشته‌اند بررسي مي‌شوند كه عبارت‌اند از: آزادي‌مداري (هايك)، قراردادگرايي (رالز)، رفاه‌گرايي (پازنر)، زمينه‌محوري (والزر) و قابليت‌مداري (سن). برخي از اين ديدگاه‌ها در نهايت به فروكاستن مفهوم عدالت به مفاهيم ديگري مانند آزادي يا رفاه مي‌انجامند و تعدادي ديگر فقط فرايند رسيدن به قواعد عدالت اجتماعي را نشان مي‌دهند. توجه به نقاط قوت و ضعف اين نظريه‌ها، مي‌تواند در مسير كشف نظريه اسلامي عدالت براي سياستگذاري‌هاي نظام به ما ياري رساند.

Second half of the twentieth century witnessed the birth of several important theories of justice in the liberal ideas that would attempt to provide non-socialist base for social and economic justice. Identifying and evaluating these theories that are effective on many national and international policies are necessary introduction to complete analytical foundations of social scientists and finally, to improve justice-oriented policies in the country. The paper studies five prominent theories of social justice which have been presented in recent decades by the distinguished representatives as follows: libertarian (Hayek), contractual (Rawls), welfare orientated (Posner), contextual (Walzer) and capability-oriented (San). Ultimately, some of these perspectives reducing the concept of justice to other concepts such as freedom or welfare and others just show the process to reach the rules of social justice. Given the strengths and weaknesses of these theories can help us to find an Islamic Theory of Justice for contemporary systems.
