The Why of the First Emanation: Its Reasons and Philosophical Requirements in Mulla Sadra’s Philosophy

تبيين و تشريح صادر اوّل، دغدغه ذهن حكماي اسلامي بوده است. حكماي مشا ، صادر اوّل را عقل اوّل دانسته اند. ملاصدرا صادر اوّل را گاهي عقل اوّل و در برخي آثار خود وجود منبسط دانسته است. اين مقاله تلاش دارد، علاوه بر ارايه نظر ملاصدرا در باب اين موضوع، عبارات به ظاهر متعارض ملاصدرا در باب صادر اوّل را توجيه كند. اين تحقيق به اين پرسش پرداخته كه آيا فلسفه ملاصدرا توان اثبات فلسفي وجود منبسط به عنوان صادر اوّل را دارد؟ و اين اثبات بر پايه كدام تقرير از وحدت وجود صورت مي گيرد؟ در ادامه با اثبات ادعاهاي فوق لوازم فلسفي و احكام و عوارض صادر اوّل به نحو استقرايي احصا شده است.

The explanation and delineation of the first emanation has been an abiding preoccupation of Islamic philosophers. Peripatetic philosophers consider the first emanation as the first intelligence. Mulla Sadra considers it as the first intelligence but in some of his works he has taken it as the self-unfolding existence. In addition to the delineation of Mulla Sadra’s views on this issue, the present article attempts to explain the apparent contradiction identified in Mulla sadra’s works with regard to the first emanation. The question dealt with in this paper is whether Sadra’s philosophy has the capacity to philosophically prove the self-unfoldingexistence as the first emanation and if yes which expression of the unity of existence is the basis of the answer. Evidence provided for the above claims and the philosophical implications of the first emanation are inferred deductively.
