A Study of the Form and Structure of Sādegh Chuback’s Short Stories

صادق چوبك متعلّق به نسل دوّم نويسندگان ايراني است كه پس از تثبيت داستان كوتاه، در ارايه نمونه‌هايي موفق در اين عرصه كوشيدند. چوبك در داستان‌هايش به زندگي اقشار بينوا و فرودست پرداخت و از زبان و لحن آنان سود برد تا واقعيت‌هاي زشت و تلخ حيات را با دقّت و جزييات تمام به تصوير كشد. او در اين راه از امكانات و صناعاتٍ روايي ويژه‌اي استفاده كرد كه بررسي مجموعه آنها موضوع تحقيق حاضر است. در اين مقاله كوشش شده است همه اجزاي روايي در داستان‌هاي كوتاه چوبك از طرح و شخصيّت گرفته تا زاويه ديد، زبان، ... تجزيه و تحليل شود.

S?degh Chuback belong to the second generation of Iranian Writers, Who having consolidated the short story as a genre in Iran, have attempted to present proper examples of it in their short stories. Chuback dealt with the lives of the lower class and the poor and presented their tone and language in the best possible way to display the ugly and bitter realities of life in a very exact and detailed manner. To achieve this end, he exploited various means and techniques of story-telling which make the purposes of the present study. This paper attempts to consider and analyze almost all of the narrative details and techniques in Chuback’s short stories such as plot, character, point of view, language, ect.
