An Analytical Approach to the Concept of Badā in Islam

معناي عقلاني و تحليلي بدا به عنوان يكي از مهم‌ترين آموزه‌هاي شيعه اماميه (اثني‌عشري) نه تنها بدعت آميز نيست بلكه با عقل و شرع سازگار است. اهل تسنن در آثار روايي و الهياتي خود، بدا را بدعت به شمار آورده و آنرا مردود دانسته‌اند. در مقابل، اماميه بر اين باورند كه اگر معناي حقيقي اين اصطلاح روشن شود (كه هدف اين نوشتار هم همين است) آنگاه همه مسلمانان من جمله اهل تسنن نيز آنرا خواهند پذيرفت. اين مقاله به نحو اجمال آرا صاحب‌نظران مشهور سني مذهب پيرامون بدا را بيان مي‌كند و سپس با بهره گيري از شيوه الهيات تحليلي نظر متالهان شيعي را در باب اين مفهوم به نحو مبسوط بيان خواهد داشت. موضوعات مهمي همچون معناي لغوي و اصطلاحي بدا ، تفاوت بدا و نسخ، نسبت بدا با علم الهي، به مناسبت، مورد بحث قرار خواهند گرفت. نتيجه آنكه، بدا مفهومي است كه با دو منبع مهم استنباط آموزه‌هاي اسلامي، يعني عقل و نقل، هيچ‌گونه منافاتي ندارد؛ از آنجا كه اين دو منبع در مذهب شيعه و سني معتبر دانسته شده‌اند در بحث حاضر به عنوان معيار ورود خواهند يافت.

The rationally and theologically analyzed meaning of Bad?, as one of the most fundamental theological doctrines of the Imamites (Twelver Shiism), is not heretical but is compatible with Intellect and Narrations. The Sunnites disapprove Bad? in their narrative and theological works and regard it as a heresy. On the contrary, the Imamites believe that if the real meaning of the term is clarified, which is the main purpose of the present paper, all Muslims will accept it. This paper briefly reviews the views of famous Sunnite scholars regarding Bad?, and then by using analytical method discusses in detail the idea of Shiite theologians about this concept. Critical issues such as literal and technical meanings of Bad?, the difference between Bad? and Naskh (Abrogation), the relationship between Bad? and God’s knowledge will be discussed. The article concludes that Bad? is a concept compatible with the two most important sources of Islamic doctrines, that is, ‘Aql (Intellect) and Naql (Narrations); we are drawing on these two sources because of their relationship with Shiism and Sunniism as two Islamic sects.
