دكتر شهيدي و تاريخ نگاري امام علي بن الحسين"ع"

Dr. Shahīdī and the Historiography of Imam ‘Alī b. al-Ḥusayn (A.S.)

آثار دكتر شهيدي (1297-1386ش) نشان مي‌دهد نسبت به پژوهش درباره امامان? علاقه بسياري داشته است. از اين ميان، به امام علي بن الحسين توجه ويژه‌اي نشان داده، به طوري كه هم در جواني و هم در سالمندي به آن حضرت پرداخته است. روش وي در پژوهش تاريخ اسلام وزندگاني ايمه? انتقادي تحليلي است و اسناد و متن سند، هر دو مورد توجه او بوده است. در مقاله حاضر، نقدها و تحليل‌هاي دكتر شهيدي بر برخي نظرات در باره امام چهارم بررسي شده است. به اين منظور ابتدا آثار ايشان درباره امام سجاد، سپس منابع مورد استفاده و آن‌گاه نقادي‌ها و تحليل‌هاي ايشان را مطرح مي‌كند؛ در ادامه، روش تحقيق دكتر مورد توجه قرار مي‌گيرد. به نظر مي‌رسد دكتر شهيدي در قسمت اول زندگاني امام علي بن الحسين? (تا قيام عاشورا) با دقت و فرصت بيشتري نسبت به بعد از آن، به نقد وتحليل پرداخته است و زندگاني و سيره امام پس از عاشورا به روش دكتر شهيدي هنوز به بررسي نياز دارد.

The works of Dr. Shah?d? (1297-1386 sh/1918-2007) indicate that he had been much interested in research concerning the Imams (A.S.). Among others, his special interest was for Imam ‘Al? b. al-?usayn (A.S.) to the extent that he used to address him both in his youth and old age. His methodology in researching the History of Islam and the life of the Imams (A.S.) is critical-analytical and both the chains of transmission (isn?d) and the texts of the sanad were of interest to him. This article studies Dr. Shah?d?’s critiques and analyses concerning the fourth Imam. To this end, the article first touches upon his works on Imam al-Sajj?d (A.S.) and then addresses his critiques and analyses and finally deals with Dr. Shah?d?’s research methodology. It seems Dr. Shah?d? has reviewed and analyzed the early parts of the life of Imam ‘Al? b. al-?usayn (A.S.) [up to the ?sh?r? uprising] more accurately and extensively than the later parts of his life. The life and s?ra of the Imam after ?sh?ra by Dr. Shah?d?’s method seems to require further examination.
