Sanaiʹʹs Poems in Dehkhoda Dictionary

اين مقاله، دو مساله اصلي دارد: نخست براي تعيين جايگاه شعر سنايي در تكوين لغت نامه دهخدا به بررسي زباني شاهد مثال هايي پرداخته ايم كه مولفان لغت نامه از شعر سنايي انتخاب كرده اند. در اين ميان موارد زيادي يافت شد كه شعر سنايي تنها شاهد مثال است و وجود يك كلمه يا تعبير كاملاً وابسته به شعر سنايي است. در اين بخش هم كلمات و تركيبات زبان رسمي وجود دارد و هم كلماتي كه مربوط به جغرافياي خيال هستند و به احتمال زياد برساخته خود سنايي‌اند. علاوه بر اين، برخي اشعار سنايي در لغت نامه به‌عنوان نخستين شاهد مثال ثبت شده اند. از آنجا كه مولفان لغت نامه در ثبت شاهد مثال ها غالباً ترتيب تاريخي را رعايت كرده اند، اين موارد هم جايگاه شعر سنايي را در تكوين لغت نامه آشكار مي كند. ديگر شاهد مثال هاي سنايي در لغت نامه نيز به حيث كميت و كيفيت اهميت خاص خود را دارند. مساله دوم مقاله، مقايسه نسخه شناسانه شاهد مثال هاي لغت نامه با نسخه خطي نويافته اي از حديقه است كه در دسترس مصححان قديمي حديقه و يا مولفان لغت نامه قرار نداشته است. اين مقايسه نشان مي دهد كه اصلاح شاهد مثال هاي موجود در لغت نامه بر اساس چاپ هاي جديد تا چه ميزان ضروري است.

This article deals with two main issues: firstly, it investigates the status of Sanaiʹs poetry in the development of Dehkhoda Dictionary. To achieve this end, examples cited from Sanaiʹs poems by the authors of Dehkhoda Dictionary have been examined. The study reveals that in quite a good number of cases, Sanaiʹs poems have been the exclusive source for the borrowed examples and the dictionary has heavily relied on them. This includes formal lexical items as well as the words belonging to the poet’s “imaginary geography” which seem to have been uniquely coined. Furthermore, some of Sanaiʹs poems in Dehkhoda Dictionary were among the first established and documented evidential examples. Since the authors of Dehkhoda Dictionary observed a chronological order in recording the examples, it further delineates the status of Sanaiʹs poetry in the development of the dictionary. The rest of the examples from Sanai have the same importance in terms of quantity and quality. The second focus of this article is a comparison between the original version of evidential examples in Dehkhoda Dictionary and a newly discovered manuscript of Hadiqa which was not available to the previous revisers of Sanai’s work or the authors of Dehkhoda Dictionary. This comparison has revealed how essential it is to revise the evidential examples in Dehkhoda Dictionary based on the newly published versions.
