بررسي و ارزيابي محورهاي عبور دوچرخه سواران و امكان‌سنجي توسعه و گسترش آن در شهر بهارستان

The study and evaluation of cycle lanes and the possibility for their development in the city of Baharestan

حمل و نقل كه از اركان اصلي در شهرهاست، بايد با ملاك‌هاي توسعه پايدار هماهنگ باشد. با استفاده از اين نگرش، ضرورت و اهميت پرداختن به سيستم‌هاي حمل و نقل غيرموتوري خصوصاً دوچرخه كه مي‌تواند جايگزين خودرو در سفرهاي كوتاه درون‌شهري شود، روشن مي‌شود. بنابراين، اين مقاله با هدف شناخت نقاط قوت و ضعف آن و ايجاد زمينه‌اي مناسب براي افزايش رضايت‌مندي شهروندان از محيط شهري و لذت‌بردن آنها از زندگي در شهر بهارستان، انجام مي‌شود. روش پژوهش مورد استفاده روش توصيفي- تحليلي مي‌باشد و اطلاعات و داده‌هاي آن به كمك مطالعات ميداني و كتابخانه‌اي جمع‌آوري شده است. در تهيه نقشه‌ها هم از نرم‌افزار سيستم اطلاعات جغرافيايي استفاده شد و هم‌چنين نرم‌افزارEXCEL براي ترسيم نمودارها به‌كار گرفته شده است. نتايج اين پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه وضعيت دوچرخه سواري شهر جديد بهارستان داراي نقاط ضعف بسياري است كه مهم‌ترين نقاط ضعف در معيارهاي پيوستگي مسير، پاركينگ و وضعيت معيارها در مكان‌هاي تفريحي وجود دارد.

Transportation is one of the major issues within cities, and it should therefore be consistent with sustainable development standards. Based on this attitude, there is an urgency and importance for using a non-motorized transportation system, in particular the bicycle, which can serve as a replacement for the automobile for short trips inside the city. Therefore, this article aims to identify the weaknesses and strengths of such a transportation system, and provide a desirable basis on which to increase citizens’ satisfaction with regards to living in the city environment of Baharestan. The research method used in this study is descriptive – analytical, and the data is acquired through surveying and library studies. The GIS software (geographical information system) is used for the preparation of the maps, and EXCEL software is deployed in order to generate graphical representations of the data. The results of this study imply that the cycling facilities and provisions in the city of Baharestan have many weaknesses, and some suggestions are presented that will improve these failings and also enhance the strengths of the system. The overall result of this research is to provide recommendations that will yield suitable cycling conditions and improve the welfare level of citizens of Baharestan.
