Dimensions of the patientʹʹs rights in Islam

حقوق بيمار در بيمارستان، انتظاراتي است كه در مراقبت موثر براي بيمار وجود دارد و بيمارستان مسوول تامين اين انتظارات است. بايد توجه داشت از جمله واجبات الهي حفظ كرامت انسان است و رعايت شخصيت انساني بيمار از حيث باورها، فرهنگ، اعتقادات و ضوابط اخلاقي عامل بسيار مهمي در بهبود بيماري است. هر انسان كرامت والايي دارد و خداوند به هر انسان با هر ويژگي، ارزشي برابر تمامي انسان‌هاي ديگر داده، و مبناي تصميم گيري درباره جسم و جان انسان نيز همين كرامت انساني است. همچنين براساس آنچه در اخبار و روايات در ثواب عيادت بيان شده، مشخص مي شود كه منظور از عيادت ديدار مريض است؛ بگونه اي كه كمكي به او بشود، به عبارتي ديدار مريض بدون ياري رساندن به او در تهيه دارو، علاج بيماريش، رفع حاجاتش، مصداق عيادت نيست. لذا ديدار پزشك، پرستار و حضورشان بر بالين بيمار مصداق صريح عيادت محسوب مي شود. هر انسان آگاهي كه به آيات قرآن و روايات اسلامي نظر بيفكند، به اشاره هاي فراواني در زمينه حقوق بيماران برخورد مي نمايد كه نشانگر دقت نظر اسلام به اين مساله است. بنابراين با شناخت فرامين اسلامي و به كار بستن آن‌ها، مي‌توان گامي مثبت در جهت تقويت و ساماندهي حقوق بيماران در حوزه سلامت و بهداشت كشورمان برداشت.

In fact the patients’ rights in hospital are those expectations that related to effective attention of the patient and hospital is responsible for supplying these expectations. It is necessary to consider that protecting the human respect and value is among divine that are necessary to be done and regarding the patient’s human character with respect to beliefs, culture and moral retentive is a very important and a vital element for the patient to be well-being. Religious learning in Islamic sources, the verses of the holy Quran and traditions draw the holy respectable and generous picture of human rank. He or She is the caliph of God on earth and divine spirit has been breathed on him or her. Because this fact each man has a high generosity and God has given each man with any characteristics, the same worth of all other people and the basis of making decision about man`s body and soul should be the man generosity. Also by regarding of what has been said about the spiritual reward of visiting in religious announcements and traditions, It is defined that visiting means to visit a sick person in a way he or she been helped. To without helping the sick person for supplying medicine, treatment and removing needs never means visiting a sick person. So the attendance of the doctor or the nurse in patient’s bed-side means visiting the sick person clearly. Each informed, man who pays attention to Islamic texts, encounters to many points and signs related to patient’s rights and this show the careful attention of Islam to this subject. So by knowing the Islamic orders and using them, we can pace a positive step to improve and organize the patients’ rights in health and hygiene area in our Islamic country.
