تاثير مكالمه با تلفن همراه بر ايمني ترافيكي: بررسي متدولوژي‌هاي مطالعه

Effects of Using Mobile Phone on Traffic Safety: The Methodology of Studies

پديده استفاده از تلفن همراه در هنگام رانندگي توسط پژوهشگران زيادي مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت و تاثير منفي آن بر ايمني ترافيكي در مطالعه‌هاي گوناگون نشان داده شد. با اين حال، چارچوب‌هاي پژوهشي كه بر اساس آن چنين يافته‌هايي ارايه شدند، مورد بحث و نقد پژوهشگران است. در اين مقاله چارچوب‌هاي متدولوژيك اين مطالعه‌ها مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. مقاله‌هاي منتشر شده در شش مجله نمايه شده در ISI web of knowledge در حوزه‌هاي بهداشت و سلامت، ايمني، حمل و نقل و علوم رفتاري بر اساس شش كليد واژه مرتبط با موضوع ايمني ترافيكي و تلفن همراه جستجو شد. 13 مقاله با ميانگين ارجاع 3/8 و بر اساس دسترسي به متن كامل از مجموع مقاله‌ها استخراج شد و مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. سه رويكرد اصلي در تعيين تاثير استفاده از تلفن همراه بر ايمني ترافيكي در مقاله‌ها قابل شناسايي است. رويكرد اپيدميولوژيك توسط متخصصين پزشكي اجتماعي و اپيدميولوژيست‌ها، رويكرد مطالعه‌هاي شبيه‌سازي توسط متخصصين ارگونومي، ايمني و ترافيك و رويكرد روان‌شناختي توسط متخصصين نورسايكولوژي، روان‌شناسي شناختي و روان‌شناسي كاربردي مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. هر كدام از رويكردها داراي محدوديت‌هاي متدولوژيك در بررسي اين پديده هستند. تمامي رويكردها تاثير استفاده از تلفن همراه بر افزايش ريسك تصادفات رانندگي را تاييد كردند. با اين حال، تعميم كلي يافته‌هاي مطالعه‌ها به دليل محدوديت‌هاي متدولوژيك مربوط به هر كدام از رويكردها دشوار است. نقاط قوت و ضعف هر كدام از متدولوژي‌ها مورد بحث قرار گرفت.

Using mobile phone while driving (MPWD) has been considered by many researchers and its negative impact on traffic safety was demonstrated in various studies. However, the research frameworks on which these findings are presented from are being discussed and criticized by many researchers. These methodological frameworks were discussed in this study. Studies published in six related journals indexed in ISI web of knowledge were searched with six keywords and without time filter. Selected journals were related to health, safety, transportation and behavioral sciences. 13 studies were selected based on full text availability and high citation. The average number of citations per selected papers was 8.3. Three methodological approaches in MPWD studies can be distinguished. Epidemiological approach used by social medicine experts and epidemiologists, simulator approach by ergonomists, safety and traffic experts and psychological approach by neuropsychologists and cognitive psychologists. Each methodology has some limitations in MPWD studies. All research methodologies show that using mobile phone while driving can increase the risk of driving crashes. However, it is difficult to generalize the findings of various studies because of their methodological limitations. Pros and cons of each methodological approach have been discussed.
