Shahname and Astronomy

در دنياي پُر از راز و رمز شاهنامه فردوسي، و در كنار شگفتي‌هاي ادبي و هنري كه اين اثر حماسي و ملّي را در رديف بزرگ‌ترين شاهكارهاي حماسي جهان قرار مي‌دهد، آن‌چه كمتر مورد توجّه قرار گرفته است، آشنايي اين حكيم بزرگ با علوم و فنون روز و بازتاب دانش‌ها و اطلاعات خود در شاهنامه است. آشنايي و حتي دانايي بسيارِ او در علم نجوم نيز امري است كه نبايد از آن به سادگي گذشت. پژوهش حاضر بر آن است تا از اين منظر به اين اثر بزرگ بپردازد.

Hatami Instructor at the Faculty of Literature, Islamic Azad University-Izeh branch In the magical world of Shahnameh, and beside all the literary and artistic marvels that make this epic and national work one of the greatest epic masterpieces of the world, what has received little attention is the acquaintance of its Knowledgable creator with the science and technology of the day and the reflection of this knowledge and information in Shahnameh. His acquaintance with, and his profound knowledge in, astronomy is something that cannot be easily over looked. This article intends to study this great work from the above viewpoint.
