Mirzadeh Ishghi and Revolutionary Romanticism

سيد محمدرضا ميرزاده عشقي از شاعران عصر مشروطيت در ايران و از پيش‌گامان تجدد ادبي محسوب مي‌شود. مفهوم تجدد ادبي ارتباطي دقيق و تنگاتنگ با رمانتيسم و گسترش آن در ادبيات مشروطه به بعد دارد و عشقي برجسته‌ترين نماينده شعر رمانتيك عصر خود است. رمانتيسم وي ضمن اين كه خالي از عناصر تغزلي نيست، بيش‌تر رنگ و بوي اجتماعي و انقلابي دارد. اين مقاله ضمن اشاره به زندگي پرفراز و نشيب او با تاكيد بر جنبه‌هاي رمانتيك آثار شاعر، به تحليل و بررسي بخشي از آن، به‌ويژه «سه تابلو مريم» پرداخته است و ويژگي‌هاي رمانتيك آثار او را از لحاظ صورت و محتوا نشان داده است.

Sayed Mohammad Reza Ishghi is considered one of the constitutional poets in Iran and a forerunner in the case of literary modernism. The concept of literary modernism is closely related with romanticism and its expansion from constitutional literature onward. Ishghi is the most outstanding poet of romanticism in his contemporary time. While his romanticism enjoys lyric elements; it is more concerned with social and revolutionary issues. Referring to ups and downs in Ishghiʹ life and highlighting romantic aspects of his works, this article analyses some of his works including "Maryamʹs three painting". Also, the romantic features of his works in terms of form and content will be presented.
