Reliability, Validity and Manner of Zuckerman Sensation- SeekingCulture- Based Scale

هدف اصلي پژوهش حاضر، بررسي اعتبار، پايايي و هنجاريابي مقياس هيجان‌خواهي زاكرمن با تغييرات بسته به فرهنگ بر روي دانشجويان فني دانشگاه‌هاي تهران است. به اين منظور در يك بررسي 668 نفر (332 دختر و336 پسر) از 5 دانشگاه فني و مهندسي (تهران، صنعتي شريف، خواجه نصير، امير كبير و علم و صنعت) به روش تصادفي در پژوهش مشاركت كردند. يافته‌هاي اين پژوهش در درجه نخست حاكي از آن است كه مقياس هيجان‌خواهي زاكرمن بسته به فرهنگ را مي‌توان به عنوان يك مقياس ساده و معتبر و روا به منظور سنجش ميزان هيجان‌خواهي به كار برد . از طرفي، مقياس هيجان‌خواهي زاكرمن از اعتبار و پايايي كافي برخوردار و از يك عامل كلي اشباع است . نتايج حاصل از تحليل عاملي نشان داد كه اين مقياس به ترتيب داراي شش عامل هيجان‌خواهي، تجربه طلبي، ماجراجويي، ملال‌پذيري، تنوع‌طلبي و گريز از بازداري است. به‌علاوه، بين ميزان هيجان‌خواهي دختران و پسران تفاوت اساسي وجود ندارد و ميزان هيجان‌خواهي افراد با بالا رفتن سن آن‌ها كاهش مي‌يابد. در اين پژوهش به منظور بيان نتايج آزمون هيجان‌خواهي بسته به فرهنگ زاكرمن، مجموعه‌اي استاندارد كه معناي آن از يك آزمون به آزمون ديگر و از يك سطح به سطح ديگر يكسان باشد، نمره‌هاي خام به نمره‌هاي استاندارد تبديل شد . جهت انجام اين كار، نرم درصدي محاسبه، سپس با يك انتقال خطي به نمرات T تبديل شد.

The present research aims to study reliability, validity and manner of Zuckerman sensation-seeking scale (SSS) particularly with changes of culture among the students of technical universities in Tehran, Therefore, 668 students (332 females and 336 males were randomly selected from five technical and engineering universities (Tehran University) Sharif University of Technology, Khajeh Nasir University, Amirkabir Technical University and, University of Technology) during the course of this research. The findings indicated that Zuckerman sensation-seeking scale can be employed as a simple and reliable scale in order to measure sensation. Furthermore, Zuckerman sensation-seeking scale was highly valided and reliable. The results obtained from analysis showed this scale consists of six factors i.e. sensation-seeking, experience-seeking, adventurism, annoyance- acceptance, variety-seeking and avoidance from deterrence. Moreover, there was no significant difference between male and female sensation-seeking. Whereas, the rate of sensation- seeking decreases with the increase in age. In order to explain that the result of this sensation-seeking culture based test is a standard collection which is consistent from one test to another and from one level to another, the crude numbers were changed into standard numbers. To do so, the percentage calculation norm was changed into T-number after one linear transformation.
