“Happiness” in Iranian Hikmat and its Influence on Islamic Iran

چكيده زرتشت مي نماياند و بعدها حتي آثاري از آن در « گاهان » حكمت قديم ايرانيان كه خود را بيشتر در برخي اندرزنامه هاي پهلوي باقي ماندهاست، ويژگي هايي كم و بيش منحصر به فرد دارد. از نظر مولف اين پژوهش مهم ترين مولفه اين حكمت، نوعي خردورزي است كه در بعد عاطفي منجر به شادي و طلب زندگي شادمانه و آسوده در دو جهان م يگردد. اين ويژگي كه در عمل انسان را به راستي، آباداني جهان، نيكي و طلب نيكنامي سوق م يدهد در برخي از آثار نويسندگان و شاعران ايراني تا قرن پنجم نيز جسته و گريخته وجود داشته و به حيات خود ادامه م يداده است. در اين پژوهش ضمن بيان مباني اين نوع از خردورزي و ارتباط آن با شادي و نتايج آن، به بازتابِ بقاياي اين حكمت در آثار دوران اسلامي خواهيم پرداخت

4 /Abstracts “Happiness” in Iranian Hikmat and its Influence on Islamic Iran Parvane Orujnia1 Assistant Professor, Department of Mysticism, Encyclopedia Islamica Foundation, Tehran, Iran Hikmat (Iranian ancient wisdom), which mostly appears in Gahan- the primary collection of sacred songs of Zoroastrianism- leaves traces in some of Andarz-Nameh-a kind of literature containing advice and orders for gaining right behavior- has unique characteristics. The most important feature of this wisdom is a kind of intellectualism which subjectively leads to inner happiness, and manʹs quest for a joyful and peaceful life in this world (Giti) as well as in the other one (Minoo), and objectively brings about truthfulness, beneficence, good reputation, and in all prosperity in the world. Traces of this worldly wisdom have, to some extent, remained in the works of some writers and poets until the 5th century. The present article tries to describe the principles of this intellectualism in Iranian ancient wisdom and its relation to happiness, its consequences and impact on Iranian culture in Islamic era.
