ويژگي هاي يك استاد خوب از ديدگاه دانشجويان دانشگاه جامع علمي كاربردي سنندج، سال 1392

The Characteristics of a Good Teacher from the Viewpoint of Students of Sanandaj University of Applied Sciencs, 2013

زمينه و هدف: استاد مهم ترين و اساسي ترين عامل موفقيت در تحقق اهداف آموزشي در هر موسسه دانشگاهي مي باشد. آگاهي از نظرات دانشجويان در مورد ويژگي هاي يك استاد خوب دانشگاهي به ما كمك مي كند تا در تنظيم فعاليت هاي تدريس و ارزيابي آموزشي با آگاهي تصميم بگيريم. مطالعه ي حاضر با هدف تعيين ويژگي هاي يك استاد خوب دانشگاهي از ديدگاه دانشجويان دانشگاه جامع علمي كاربردي سنندج انجام گرديد. روش بررسي: پژوهش حاضر يك مطالعه ي توصيفي تحليلي از نوع مقطعي است. جامعه ي مورد بررسي تمامي دانشجويان دانشگاه جامع علمي كاربردي سنندج بودند كه حداقل 2 ترم تحصيلي را گذرانده و در نيمسال دوم سال تحصيلي 92-1391 مشغول به تحصيل بودند كه از بين آن ها 384 نفر به روش تصادفي ساده مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوري داده ها پرسشنامه اي مشتمل بر دو بخش سووالات دموگرافيك و سووالات مربوط به خصوصيات يك استاد خوب دانشگاهي بود كه توسط دانشجويان تكميل گرديد. يافته ها: از نظر دانشجويان، مهم ترين گويه ها، تسلط استاد بر موضوع مورد تدريس، دانش عمومي در مورد درس مورد تدريس، كوشش جهت تفهيم درس و پاسخ به سووالات دانشجو و سابقه ي تدريس استاد و كم اهميت ترين مشخصه هاي يك استاد خوب دانشگاهي شامل انجام حضور و غياب، برگزاري كوييز و امتحان ميان ترم، رتبه ي دانشگاهي استاد و رعايت آيين نامه ي آموزشي و حذف دانشجوياني كه بيش از حد مجاز غيبت دارند، بودند. بين جنس دانشجو و رشته ي تحصيلي با حيطه هاي شش گانه ارتباط آماري معني داري مشاهده نشد(05/0P > ). نتيجه گيري: توان علمي استاد از مهم ترين خصوصيات يك استاد خوب در اين مطالعه بود كه در كنار سابقه ي تدريس مي تواند باعث پيشرفت كيفيت آموزشي شود؛ لذا دانشگاه ها بايستي در انتخاب اساتيد، از مدرسين با توان علمي بالا و آشنا با روش هاي ارتباطي و شيوه هاي مناسب برخورد با دانشجو استفاده نمايند.

Background and Objective: The teacher is the most important factor in achieving educational goals in any academic institution. Awareness of student opinions about the characteristics of a good teacher can help us to determine the principles of evaluation of teaching and learning activities. The present study was carried out to determine the characteristics of a good teacher from the viewpoint of students of Sanandaj University of Applied Sciences. Materials and Methods: The present research was a cross-sectional study. Samples were all of students of Sanandaj University of Applied Sciences who had passed at least two semesters and were enrolled in the second semester of the academic year of 2013. Of those, 384 students were randomly selected. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire consisting of two parts: demographic questions and questions related to the characteristics of a good teacher. For data analysis spss version 16 was used. Results: From the viewpoint of the students, mastery of the subject matter taught by the teacher, general knowledge about teaching of the lesson, trying to understand the lesson and answering studentsʹ questions and teaching experience of the teacher were most important. The least important characteristics of a good educator were paying attention to the students, holding quizzes and midterm exam, academic rank, compliance with educational regulations and dropping the students who exceed absent-from-class limit. There was no statistically significant relationship between sex, course of study and the six areas of the characteristics of a good teacher (P > 0.05). Conclusion: The results of the present study show that in the selection of the teachers, high academic abilities, familiarity with the methods of communication, and appropriate ways of dealing with students should be given greater weight.
