تهيه و بررسي ويژگي‌هاي شتاب‌دهنده جديد از خانواده بنزوتيازول، در ساخت آميزه‌هاي لاستيكي

Preparation and Properties Investigation of New Accelerators of Benzothiazoles Family as an Effective Accelerator for Rubber Compounds

امروزه 2-مركاپتوبنزوتيازول به‌عنوان شتاب‌دهنده معمول در فرايند ولكانش براي تهيه مصنوعات متفاوت لاستيكي استفاده مي‌شود. از عيب‌هاي اين شتاب‌دهنده مي‌توان عدم پخش مناسب آن، در بستر پليمري را نام برد. در اين پژوهش، به منظور افزايش ويژگي چربي‌دوست ساختار اين شتاب‌دهنده و بهبود پخش آن در بستر پليمري و افزايش كارايي آن، مشتق جديدي از خانواده بنزوتيازول با ايجاد شاخه‌هاي چربي‌دوست به‌دست آمده از واكنش 2-مركاپتوبنزوتيازول با بنزوييل كلريد تهيه شد. ويژگي‌هاي جريان‌شناسي و فيزيكي- مكانيكي آميزه‌هاي لاستيكي تهيه شده با اين شتاب‌دهنده‌ها، بررسي شد. نتيجه‌ها نشان داد كه استفاده از S-بنزوتيازول-2-ايل تيوبنزوات موجب افزايش زمان برشتگي با حفظ ويژگي‌هاي ديگر آميزه مي‌شود. اين امر در تهيه مصنوعات لاستيكي كه نياز به ايمني بيشتر براي فرايندپذيري، پيش از آغاز ولكانش دارند، بسيار مهم است.

Nowadays 2-mercaptobenzothiazole is widely used in vulcanization process for preparation of rubber products. An important disadvantages of this accelerator is its poor dispersion in polymer matrix. In this study in order to increase the lipophilic property of the accelerator and to improve the dispersion of it in polymer matrix and increase its efficiency, some of the new derivatives of benzothiazole family were prepared by adding lipophilic chains obtained from the reaction of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole with alkylhalyds, such as benzoyl chloride and 4-nitro benzyl bromide. Rheological and physico-mechanical properties of rubber compounds prepared by new accelerators were investigated. Results showed that s-benzothiazole-2-yl tiobenzoat increases the scorch time of the compound, while the other properties were preserved. This is very important for the rubber products that need more time for processing before the vulcanization would start. The second compound that was prepared by 2-(4-nitrobenzil) tiobenzothiazole did not good results due to passive participation in vulcanization process.
