The Critique of Fifteen Titles of Persian Literature Histories: A Step towards Improvement the Research & Educational Realms

تاريخ، نقطه آغاز و تكيه گاه پژوهشهاي گوناگون بوده است و هر پژوهشگري ناگزير است براي ارايه رهيافتهاي نوين خويش، به راهي كه متقدّمان درنورديده اند، با رويكردي انتقادي بنگرد. هر نسلي، بايد قرايت و برآيندي متناسب با ديالكتيك «تاريخ و روزگار خود» را ارايه دهد و از پيشينه فرهنگي خود پاسداري كند. نگارش تاريخ ادبيّاتي نوين، همگام با دگرگونيهاي امروزين جهاني، از رسالتهاي سنگين پژوهشگران ايراني است. نگارنده، اين مقاله را با همين هدف نگاشته است و پانزده عنوان از مهمترين كتابهاي تاريخ ادبيّات فارسي را كه نويسندگان خارجي و ايراني نوشته اند، در بوته نقد قرار داده تا آزمونها و خطا-هاي پژوهشگران پيشين را كه تجربه اي است ارزشمند براي نگارش تاريخ ادبيّاتي نوين، ارايه دهد. نبودن مباني نظري مشخّص درباره ماهيت، مادّه و طبقه بندي تاريخهاي ادبي، ايديولوژي زدگي، غفلت از سخنوران زن و ادبيّات فولكلور و قومي ايراني، شعر شيفتگي و به كناره راندن ادبيّات منثور، انبوهيِ شاعران و نويسندگان دست چندم كه عرصه تحليل و استنتاج را بر مولّف تنگتر كرده، موازي نگري به جريانهاي تاريخي و ادبي، داوريهاي كلّي و بدون دقّتِ برآمده از تذكره هاي قديم فارسي، لغزشهاي خوانشي در نسخه هاي خطّي و انتساب آنها به صاحبانشان، نبودن نگرش تطبيقي در آثار پژوهشگران ايراني و كژ فهمي پژوهشگران خارجي و برداشتهاي اشتباه آنان از زبان فارسي از مهمترين كاستيهاي تاريخ ادبيّاتهاي پيشين است. نگارنده، در پايان، بر اساس يافته هاي پژوهش خود، پيشنهاد هايي را در دو محور پژوهشي و آموزشي براي فراهم شدن بستر نگارش تاريخ ادبيّاتي نوين ارايه كرده است.

History has been the departing point and groundwork of different research and every researcher seeking to propose his own new approaches, has no other way but take a critical look at the path his predecessors stepped in. Every generation has to offer a type of reading and thinking corresponding to dialectics of his own time and era and protect his cultural background. Given the modern changing world, writing modern literature history, is a backbreaking and painstaking task on part of Iranian researchers. Taking the abovementioned goal into account, the author reviewed 15 titles of the most influential books on Iranian literature history written by foreign and domestic writers drawing upon “tries and errors” experienced by the preceding researchers with regard to writing a modern literature history. Lack of transparent theoretical principles on the nature, essence and categorization of literature histories, being under the influence of ideologies, negligence towards Iranian women speakers and folklore and ethics literature, infatuation with poem and marginalization of prose, abundance of low-profile poets and authors who have restricted the analysis and deduction arena for the real author, parallelism in historical and literary streams, general and inaccurate conclusions rising out of Persian old memos, errors resulting from manuscript-reading and attributing them to their owners, lack of a comparison-based attitude in Iranian researchers’ works and foreign researchers misunderstandings and wrong impressions about Persian language are among the most important setbacks of the early literature histories. Based on the research findings, the author puts a number of propositions forward within two thematic frameworks, i.e. research and education, to provide a ground for writing a modern literature history.
