A Critical View on Hermeneutic Approach of Nasr Hamed Abu Zeid in Interpretation of the Holy Qurʹʹan

نصرحامد ابوزيد با دل‌سپردگي به نظريات زبان‌شناسي و هرمنوتيكي، بر آن است تا با تاويل متجددانه قرآن، الفتي ميان سنت و تجدد برقرار سازد. وي روش خود را يگانه روش فهم قرآن مي‌داند كه طي آن، قرآن مطابق با اوضاع زمانه خود تفسير مي‌شود. در اين رويكرد برخي از آيات صرفاً شاهدي تاريخي و محكوم به فراموشي، برخي با قابليت تاويل مجازي، و برخي نيز متوني با قابليت توسعه‌اند. در اين مقاله نظريات وي در باب وحي، احتساب قرآن به عنوان متني تاريخ‌مند و محصولي فرهنگي، و اجتهاد پويا مورد بررسي قرار مي‌گيرد. روش تحقيق تحليلي و انتقادي است. منابع مورد استفاده نيز عبارت‌اند از كتاب‌ها، مقالات، و مصاحبه‌هاي انتشاريافته از ابوزيد در نشريات و سايت‌هاي اينترنتي، كتاب‌ها و مقالاتي كه در بررسي ديدگاه‌هاي ابوزيد منتشر شده و منابعي كه به نقد و بررسي استفاده از روش هرمنوتيكي در تفسير قرآن پرداخته‌اند.

As a result of his interest in linguistic and hermeneutic theories, Nasr Hamed Abu Zeid seeks to create a type of affection between tradition and modernity through a modern interpretation of the Holy Qurʹan. He considers his method as the only way of understanding the Qurʹan in which the Qurʹan is interpreted according to the conditions of its own time. According to this approach, some verses are only historical which are doomed to be forgotten; some are able to be rendered as allegorical interpretation, and some are texts capable of expansion. In this paper, Abu Zeidʹs point of views about revelation, regarding the Qurʹan as a historical text and cultural product, and dynamic Ijtihad (religious jurisprudence) are discussed. The methodology is critical and analytical and the sources are published books, articles and interviews of Abu Zeid in journals and websites, and critical books and articles on his approach on interpretation of the Holy Qurʹan.
