آگاهي مادران شهرستان شيروان در زمينه بهداشت دهان و دندان كودكان 6-1 سال

Mothersʹʹ Awareness, regarding Orodental Health of their Children at age of 1-6 Years old in Shirvan

زمينه و هدف: يكي از معيارهاي اصلي سنجش سلامت افراد جامعه، بررسي ميزان سلامت دهان و دندان آنها ميباشد. از آن زمان كه علل بروز و شيوع بيماريهاي دهان و دندان شناخته شد، پيشگيري از آنها نيز مورد تاكيد قرار گرفت. براي ارتقا سلامت جامعه بايد در جهت تامين سلامت كودكان برنامه ريزي گردد و برنامه هاي تامين سلامتي در بزرگسالي تداوم يابد. نقش مادران در حفظ سلامت دندان كودكان بسيار مهم است. لذا كسب اطلاعات در موردآگاهي مادران در اين زمينه مي تواند مبنايي براي برنامه ريزي هاي بهداشتي و بهبود آن باشد. مواد و روش كار: در اين مطالعه‌ي مقطعي 100 نفرازمادران كودكان زير6 سال شهر شيروان به روش طبقه اي انتخاب گرديده و پرسشنامه هاي آگاهي سنج در اختيار آنها قرار داده شده ، سپس اطلاعات وارد نرم افزار SPSS19 گرديد. جهت توصيف داده ها از شاخص هاي ميانگين ، انحراف معيار ، درصدها و جهت آناليز داده ها از آزمونهاي تي ، آناليز واريانس و ضريب همبستگي پيرسون استفاده گرديد. يافته ها: ميانگين نمره آگاهي مادران13/3± 45/13 بود. نتايج آناليزهاي انجام شده نشان داد بين آگاهي مادران و سن آنها رابطه معني دار آماري وجود ندارد. همچنين بين آگاهي مادران با متغيرهاي سطح تحصيلات مادر، شغل ، وضعيت اقتصادي خانواده ، محل سكونت و تعداد فرزندان خانواده ارتباط معني دار آماري وجود دارد. (05/0 > p-value) نتيجه گيري: با توجه به اينكه آموزش به مادران خصوصاً مادراني كه حضور كمتري در اجتماع دارند در زمينه بهداشت دهان و دندان كودكان، سهمي به سزا در ارتقاي سلامت كودكان جامعه خواهد داشت، پيشنهاد ميگردد جهت ارتقا سطح آگاهي مادران برگزاري كلاس هاي آموزشي، توليد و توزيع پمفلت و بروشورهاي اطلاع رساني در موردنكات بهداشتي دهان و دندان در برنامه هاي مراكز بهداشتي و درماني قرار گيرد.

Background & Objectives:Evaluation of oral health is one of the main criteria in public health assessment. Since the time of Prevalence and incidence of oral diseases were known, their prevention has been emphasized. Planning for children health is necessary to improve the society health. Programs of providing health condition in adulthood must be continued. Mother’s role is very important in the childrenʹs dental health. So, data gathering about mothers’ awareness in this area can be useful for planning health promotion. Material & Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive analytical study, 100 Mothers having children less than 6 years old were selected in Shirvan by stratified random sampling method. Their Demographic and Knowledge data were collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS-19 software and presented with descriptive (Mean and Standard deviation) and analytic statistic (t-test , Correlation analysis and Analysis of Variance) Results: The average of Mothersʹ Awareness was13/45±3/13. The results of analyzes showed no Significant relationship between the mothersʹ awareness and age. There was a Significant relationship between the mothersʹ awareness and level of education, employment, economic situation of the family, habitat and number of children. (P-Value < 0/05) Conclusion: With respect to the oral health education of mothers, especially mothers who are less socially could have an important impress on the health of children. It is recommended to raise awareness of mothers by holding educational classes, Producing and distribution of information pamphlets and brochures on oral health in health centers.
