استكبار جهاني و جريان تاريخي امپرياليسم همواره مترصد برتري­ يابي نسبت به ساير كشورهاي جهان بوده­ اند و به نوعي خود را داعيه­ دار جهان مي­ دانند و به همين دليل از هر شيوه و ابزاري براي سيطره يافتن بر ساير كشورها بهره مي­ گيرند. مستكبرين جهاني در ابتداي حركت خود از شيوه­ هاي نظامي در راستاي تحقق اهدافشان بهره گرفتند اما با گذشت زمان و ظهور تكنولوژي­ هاي جديد و اهميت يافتن كسب مشروعيت، اين جريان به سوي سلطه فرهنگي روي آورد، به گونه­ اي كه براي تسخير كشورهاي غيرهمسو به ابزار و شيوه­ هاي فرهنگي متوسل شدند و امام خميني(ره) به عنوان پرچم­دار مبارز با مستكبرين و سلطه­ گران فرهنگي در قرن اخير، همواره به ملت­ هاي اسلامي هشدار داده­ اند و آنها را در خصوص ماهيت خطرناك سلطه فرهنگي بر حذر داشته­ اند. ايشان علاوه بر هشدار دادن نسبت به ماهيت متحول گشته استكبار و ترفندهاي آن ها، به روشن­ سازي راهبردهاي سلطه­ گران در عرصه­ ي فرهنگي مي­ پردازند. با اين وجود، پژوهش حاضر مترصد است با بهره­ گيري از روش اكتشافي- اسنادي و كنكاش در انديشه­ ي سياسي امام خميني(ره) به اين پرسش اساسي پاسخ دهد كه امام خميني(ره) براي مقابله با ترفندهاي استكبار جهاني براي تحقق سلطه در عرصه فرهنگي، چه راهبردهايي را تجويز مي نمايند؟ يافته هاي پژوهش در انديشه سياسي امام خميني(ره) به اين قرار است كه امام خميني(ره) براي مقاوم­ سازي فرهنگي در برابر سلطه فرهنگي و تهديدات براندازانه استكبار، راهبردهاي زير را ارايه مي­ دهند؛ شناخت كامل فرهنگ خودي، تعميق و پاسداشت از فرهنگ ديني، زمينه­ سازي براي استقلال فرهنگي و پرهيز از وابستگي فرهنگي، صيانت از هويت انساني- اسلامي، ايجاد اتحاد در جامعه، بسترسازي براي همگرايي ديني، گسترش فرهنگ مقاومت، مقابله با رواج اخلاق فاسده، مديريت جريان­ هاي وابسته به غرب، صيانت از الگوها و مفاخر ملي، سيطره بر اذهان و قلوب ملت، خنثي­سازي تبليغات فرهنگي دشمنان.
