مقايسه عملكرد حافظه بينايي-كلامي و ظرفيت حافظه كاري دانش آموزان استعداد درخشان و دانش آموزان عادي

Comparing of Visual and Verbal Memory Performance and Capacity Working Memory in Gifted and Normal Students

هدف از پژوهش حاضر شناخت و مقايسه عملكرد حافظه بينايي- كلامي و ظرفيت حافظه كاري دانش آموزان استعداد درخشان و دانش آموزان عادي سال اول دبيرستان شهر تهران بود. لذا، 120 نفر از دانشآموزان دختر و پسر كلاسهاي اول دبيرستانهاي استعداد درخشان و عادي در چهار گروه 30 نفري به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. براي سنجش حافظه بينايي از آزمون تصاوير درهم آندره- ري، و براي سنجش حافظه كلامي از آزمون فراخواني داستان، براي سنجش ظرفيت حافظه كاري هم از آزمون فراخناي حافظه و براي يكسان سازي هوش دانش آموزان از ماتريس پيشرفته هوش ريون استفاده شد. داده هاي به دست آمده از طريق تحليل واريانس دو راهه و آزمون t مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفتند. باتوجه به نتايج به دست آمده، حافظه بينايي كلامي و ظرفيت حافظه كاري دانش آموزان استعداد درخشان نسبت به دانش آموزان مدارس عادي در سطح بالاتري قرار داشت. نتايج به دست آمده در بررسي عامل جنس نشان داد كه در حافظه بينايي عملكرد دانش آموزان پسر و در حافظه كلامي عملكرد دانش آموزان دختر بالاتر است. در مجموع ظرفيت حافظه كاري دانش آموزان استعداد درخشان اعم از دختر و پسر، از دانش آموزان عادي بيشتر بود.

The purpose of this study was to compare visual and verbal memory performance and working memory capacity of gifted and regular first year high school students in Tehran. Using a multi – stage cluster sampling, 120 first year high school students 60 girls and 60 boys, were selected from gifted (60) and ordinary (60) high schools in four groups of 30 were selected. To assess the Visual Memory,the Andre Rey Complex Figure, a Measure of Verbal Memory, Story Recall Test, and to measure capacity of working the memory, The Memory Span Test (Digits Backward Test, DBT) and for equalling the intelligence of the students, the Raven’s Advanced Progressive Matrices Test were used. Data analysed through unvaried analysis of variance (two way) and t test.Results indicated that gifed students had hisher levels of, verbal and visual memory, and working memory capacity, than students in regular schools. Results also showed that in terms of gender, the performance of boy students in visual memory, and, the performance of girl students in verbal memory were higher.In addition, rcgardless of gender,the total capacity of working memory for gifted students, was higher than the regular students.
