Globalization: Considerations and Opportunities

امروزه همه كشورهاي جهان با پديده جهاني‌شدن روبه‌رو هستند. اين، براي آن‌ها فرصت و تهديد تلقي مي‌شود. از آنجا كه جهاني‌شدن و هويت جهان‌وطني، رويدادي ناگزير به‌نظر مي‌رسد، برنامه‌ريزي واقع‌بينانه و بهره‌برداري از فرصت‌هاي پيش‌رو، براي دولت‌ها و ملت‌ها موضعي منطقي است. در اين نوشتار پس از ارايه تعاريفي از جهاني‌شدن و بيان نگرش‌هاي موافق و مخالف در ابعاد گوناگون آن، اشاره‌اي به موقعيت ايران در قبال مسايل مطرح، از جمله اقتصاد، سياست، فرهنگ و خرده‌فرهنگ‌ها مي‌شود. در نهايت بايد اذعان كرد كه اين فرايند، پديده‌اي از پيش برنامه‌ريزي شده و با هدفي مشخص ظهور نيافته‌است، لذا پويايي بيشتر دولت و ملت در همه ابعاد، و توان سازگاري با روند جهاني، روش و هدفي ناگزير براي بهره‌مندي هر چه بيشتر از فرصت‌هاي پيش‌رو است.

Today all the world countries are faced with the phenomenon of globalization. This is considered both an opportunity and a threat to them. Since globalization and the cosmopolitan identity seem to be inevitable, therefore a rational planning and utilization of the opportunities ahead seem to be reasonable. After offering some definitions about globalization and presenting pro and con attitudes in various dimensions in this article, Iran’s status towards the issues introduced -- including politics, economy, culture and subcultures -- are discussed. Ultimately it is asserted that this process is not a pre-orchestrated phenomenon to have emerged with a specific goal; therefore, further dynamism of the government and the nation in all dimensions and the capability to adjust with the globalization trend are an inevitable process and goal to make further use of the opportunities ahead.
