بررسي تاثير متغيرهاي مياني بر افزايش بهره‌وري حاصل از IT در مراكز تحقيقاتي

The Effect of Intervening Variables on Productivity of IT Investment in Research Centers

با توجه به حجم عظيم استفاده از فناوري اطلاعات، ميزان بهره‌وري حاصل از آن در سازمان‌ها همواره مورد توجه پژوهشگران بوده است‌. تحقيقات نشان داده‌اند سرمايه‌گذاري در IT در صورتي به بهره‌وري بالا خواهد رسيد كه در كنار آن، مجموعه‌اي از سرمايه‌گذاري‌هاي مكمل انجام گرفته باشد‌. در اين تحقيق نقش عوامل مكمل توجه به زيرساخت‌هاي سازماني، استراتژي، موانع موجود در راه پياده‌سازي IT، ميزان نوآوري مديران مياني، چگالي اطلاعات زنجيره محصول و ميزان پويايي محيطي، به عنوان متغيرهاي تعديلي و مهندسي مجدد فرايندها و مديريت دانش به عنوان متغيرهاي واسطه‌اي در يك مركز تحقيقاتي مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است‌. نتايج حاصله نشان مي‌دهد براي آنكه در سازمان‌هاي تحقيقاتي سرمايه‌گذاري در IT به افزايش عملكرد بيانجامد، لازم است مديران به متغيرهاي ذكرشده نيز توجه داشته و در راستاي تحقق و بهبود آنها بكوشند‌.

Today, information technology as one of the modern human technology, is rapidly influencing the pattern of life, management, business and other fields of human life. From the beginning of the work of information technology in organizations, one of the issues of interest for researchers is the effect of information technology on productivity. Researchers in their research did not find a specific relationship between IT investment and organization productivity. This issue has been known the "productivity paradox" They have studied the reasons of the productivity paradox with different approaches. One of these approaches is complementary approach. This approach is believed that the investment in information technology will lead to high productivity and value creation if in beside it a set of complementary investments is made by organizations .In fact, these complementary factors play the role of intervening variables in the relationship between information technology and productivity . In this study, the complementary role of organizational infrastructure, strategy, impediment of IT implementation ,the innovation of middle and senior managers, value chain and product information intensity and environmental dynamism as moderating factors and Reengineering processes and knowledge management as an mediating variable in a research as a case study has been studied. For this purpose, the research model has provided after reviewing the literature and qualitative expert interviews, then we have collected Data and information for testing hypotheses through the dissemination of Questionnaire among statistical community members. After this step, we have used hierarchical regression to investigate the moderating effect and structural equations modeling approach to investigate the mediating effect of research variables. The results show, A necessary and sufficient condition for increasing the performance of IT in research centers is using information technology to improve processes and management of existing knowledge in the organization. Also, investment in IT will lead to increasing performance in Research Organization if managers emphasize on the mentioned moderating variables and try to fulfill and improve them in their organization.
