بررسي خواص ضدميكروبي سيانوباكتري‌هاي چشمه آب گرم گنو

Antimicrobial activity of Cyanobacteria isolated from hot spring of Geno

سيانوباكتري‌ها يا جلبك‌هاي سبز- آبي يكي از متنوع‌ترين گروه‌هاي پروكاريوتي فتوسنتزي گرم منفي هستند كه در سرتاسر كره زمين پراكنش دارند. آنها توليد كننده انواع گوناگوني از متابوليت‌هاي ثانويه با تاثيرات بيولوژيكي متنوع هستند. در اين تحقيق عصاره‌هاي مختلفي از سيانوباكتري‌هاي جدا شده از چشمه آب گرم گنو در بندرعباس عليه برخي از باكتري‌هاي گرم مثبت و منفي و مخمرها به منظور شناسايي فعاليت ضد ميكروبي و ضد قارچي مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. به اين منظور عصاره متانولي استخراجي از 7 سيانوباكتري Oscillatoria subbrevis، O. tenuis، O. limentica، O. limentica، O. angusta، O. articulate، Synechocystis aquatilis، Synechoccous cerdorum عليه 5 باكتري گرم مثبت، سه باكتري گرم منفي و 2 قارچ مخمري مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. نتايج اين تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد كه عصاره متانولي خواص ضد ميكروبي قوي عليه باكتري‌هاي گرم مثبت به ويژه Bacillus subtilis B. pumulis دارد و همچنين تاثيرات متوسطي عليه باكتريهاي گرم منفي به ويژه Escherichia coli و ضد قارچ به ويژه S. cerevisiae دارند.

Cyanobacteria, the blue green algae are one of the most diverse groups of Gram-negative photosynthetic prokaryotes widely distributed throughout the world. Cyanobacteria are known to produce a wide range of secondary metabolites with various biological actions. The aim of this study was to test extracts from various cyanobacteria isolated from Geno hot spring, Bandar Abbas (Iran) against a diverse range of organisms comprising Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and yeasts to evaluate its antibacterial and antifungal activities. Seven species namely Oscillatoria subbrevis, O. tenuis, O. limentica, O. angusta, O. articulate, Synechocystis aquatilis and Synechoccous cerdorum were selected for the production of antimicrobial agents against five Gram-positive and three Gram-negative bacteria, and two fungi. The results of this study showed that the methanol extracts exhibited high antimicrobial activity against some Gram positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and B. pumulis), moderate antibacterial activity against the some Gram negative organisms (Escherichia coli) and moderate antifungal activity against some fungi (S. cerevisiae).
