The SWOT Identification and Determination of Strategic Position of National University Sport Federation

هدف تحقيق حاضر شناخت وضعيت موجود و تعيين موقعيت استراتژيك فدراسيون ملي ورزش‌هاي دانشگاهي بود. روش اين تحقيق توصيفي كه بر مبناي فرايند مطالعات استراتژيك انجام شد. جامعه آماري تحقيق را مديران و اعضاي هييت رييسه فدراسيون و روساي هييت هاي ورزشي استاني فدراسيون به تعداد 46 نفر تشكيل داد. به علت محدود بودن جامعه آماري، نمونه گيري به روش كل شمار انجام شد. روش جمع آوري اطلاعات، ميداني بود كه به صورت آميخته كمي و كيفي (MIX) انجام گرفت. همچنين جمع آوري اطلاعات از دو پرسشنامه باز و بسته و مصاحبه با اعضاي جامعه تحقيق تا حد اشباع نظري به منظور احصا بيانيه ماموريت، چشم انداز، قوت‌ها، ضعف‌ها، فرصت‌ها و تهديدهاي فدراسيون صورت گرفت. روايي پرسشنامه بسته توسط اساتيد مديريت ورزشي آشنا با فدراسيون تاييد شد و ضريب پايايي آن با استفاده از آلفاي كرونباخ 0.86 محاسبه گرديد. از ميان 46 مورد قوت، ضعف، فرصت و تهديد فدراسيون شوراي راهبري بر مبناي اطلاعات بدست آمده و شناخت دقيق از فدراسيون 33 مورد يعني 9 قوت، 10 ضعف، 8 فرصت و 6 تهديد را مورد تاييد نهايي قرار داد. براي تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات از جدول امتيازدهي عوامل دروني و بيروني استفاده شد. در نهايت امتياز جدول عوامل دروني عدد 2.40 و امتياز جدول عوامل بيروني عدد 2.68 محاسبه تعيين شد. موقعيت استراتژيك فدراسيون ملي ورزش هاي دانشگاهي نيز در وضعيت محافظه كارانه (WO) قرار گرفت.

The aim of this study was to identify the current status and to determine the strategic position of the National University Sport Federation. The method was descriptive based on the process of strategic studies. The statistical population consisted of managers and members of the board of directors in the federation and the directors of the provincial sports boards of the federation (N=46). Due to the limitation on the statistical population, the sample equaled the population. Data collection was conducted by field method with quantitative and qualitative mixing. Data were collected by two open and closed questionnaires as well as interviews with the subjects until the theoretical saturation in order to achieve mission statement, vision, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the federation. The validity of the closed questionnaire was confirmed by sports management professors who were familiar with the federation. The reliability was calculated with Cronbach alpha as 0.86. Out of 46 strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the federation, the strategic council confirmed total 9 strengths, 10 weaknesses, 8 opportunities and 6 threats (total 33) based on the obtained data and detailed understanding of the federation. For data analysis, IF Matrix and EF Matrix was used. The IF Matrix score was determined as 2.40 and the EF Matrix was determined as 2.68. The strategic position of the federation was in the conservative region (WO).
