The Effect of Information Technology on Value Chain of Iranian Exemplary Exporter Manufacturer Companies

پيشرفت‌هاي سريع وروز افزون در حوزه فناوري اطلاعات ونقش آنها در كمك به بهبود عملكرد شركت‌ها باعث وابستگي روزافزون آنها به فناوري گرديده، در حالي كه درداخل كشور، پژوهش‌هاي اندكي در اين زمينه انجام شده است. از آنجا كه اين فناوري ابتدا در سطح زنجيره ارزش شركت‌ها پياده شده و ازآن طريق برعملكرد تاثير مي‌گذارد، لذا ضرورت انجام تحقيق در اين زمينه بيشتر احساس مي‌شود. هدف اصلي اين پژوهش نيز، بررسي اثرات زيرساخت فرايندي IT بر قابليت عملياتي فرايندهاي زنجيره ارزش شركت‌هاي نمونه صادراتي كشوري است. بر اين اساس، اين پژوهش از نظر هدف، كاربردي و از حيث روش، توصيفي-پيمايشي است. جامعه آماري پژوهش را آن دسته از شركت‌هاي توليديِ نمونه صادراتي كشوريِ فعال در بخش صنعت تشكيل مي‏دهند كه در هفت سال گذشته (89-1383) حداقل يك بار موفق به كسب اين عنوان شده باشند. براي بررسي مدل مفهومي پژوهش از روش تحليل مسير استفاده شده است. يافته‌هاي پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه بكارگيري فناوري اطلاعات در زنجيره ارزش شركت‌ها، قادر است سرعت و دقت انجام فرايندهاي زنجيره ارزش را بطور مستقيم و هزينه انجام فرايندها را بطور غيرمستقيم بهبود بخشيده و از اين طريق، قابليت عملياتي شركت‌ها را افزايش دهد.

Abstract The fast and ever-increasing progress in Information Technology (IT) area and their role in helping firms to improve their performance cause them to depend on IT day by day. At the same time, few studies have been conducted in this area, so the mechanism and effects of IT on Iranian firm’s value chains are unclear. Therefore, it is necessary to study in this area. This study is a descriptive survey. The statistical population of the research is composed of Iranian exemplary exporter manufacturer companies that have elected since 2004 to 2010 by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran. Data gathering instrument was questionnaire and path analysis technique has been used for the purpose of data analysis. The research has three main hypotheses and three sub-hypotheses. The conceptual research model has four variables including: IT process infrastructure, the speed desirability of value chain process and the cost and accuracy of that. The findings indicate that the IT process infrastructure of firms has directly effect on the speed and accuracy of the value chin processes. Moreover, IT has indirect effect on cost desirability of value chain processes through effecting on speed of that value chain.
