اشعارمولانا ميرزا عبدالقادر بيدل دهلوي - شاعرصاحب سبك و انديشه- كه به حق لقب برازنده اوست از ويژگيهاي خاصي برخوردار است كه نفوذ و تاثير سخن او را تا حدود « ابوالمعاني » زيادي بر شعراي افغانستان و پاكستان و هندوستان گرفته تا كشمير و تاجيكستان و آسياي ميانه و حتي بر شعر معاصر ايران ميتوان بوضوح دريافت. بيدل در ميان شاعران و نويسندگان گذشته، از جمله شخصيتهاي معدودي است كه با مهارت هر چه تمامتر توانسته بلندترين افكار فلسفي و عرفاني را در قالب الفاظي ساده بريزد و سخني ارزشمند پديد آورد كه از حيث لفظ در كمال پختگي و فصاحت و از لحاظ معني در بالاترين مراحل انديشههاي انساني قرار ميگيرد. نويسنده در اين مقاله بر آن بوده است تا ضمن معرفي بيدل پژوهي و بيدل پژوهان ، گستره تحقيقاتي از اين دست را باز نمايد و لايههاي پنهان سخن بيدل را،به جهت تنوع معنايي و اختلاف سطح اشعارش، كه برخاسته از سبك شخصي پيچيده و دشوار اوست نشان دهد. پيچيدگي و چند لايگي سخن بيدل نتيجه مستقيم معنا گرايي و ژرفنگري اوست كه توانسته است مباحث مهم عرفاني وفلسفي را در قالب شعر بيان كند و همين عامل تازگيهاي خاصي در سخن او ايجاد كرده است تا جايي كه انديشه وحدت وجود را به سادگي بيان ميكند و جهان را جز تجلي ذات حضرت دوست نميداند
