Human Free Will Representation in TV Religious Serials: A Case Study of Key to Mysteries

با توجه به ارتباط هميشگي زندگي توده مردم با مفاهيم جبر و اختيار، و نيز اهميت ذاتي اين مفهوم در حيطه دين، و با عطف‌‌‌نظر به توانايي رسانه‌‌‌ها در برساخت روايت توده مردم از نظام اسباب هستي اين تحقيق در پي پاسخگويي به اين سوال برآمده است كه در مجموعه تلويزيوني‌‌‌ نمونه تحقيق از مفهوم اختيار چه برساخت معنايي‌‌‌اي به مخاطب ارايه مي‌‌‌شود. لذا ابتدا يك معرفي اجمالي از مفهوم اختيار در انديشه اسلامي و دال‌‌‌هاي آن كه امكان بازشناسي فضاي تخاصم ميان جبر مطلق و اختيار مطلق در بخش عملي تحقيق را فراهم مي‌‌‌آورد، ارايه شده است. با اتخاذ رويكرد نظري بازنمايي برساختي، تركيبي از رويكردهاي تحليل گفتمان براي تحليل گفتگوهاي مجموعه درباره اختيار انسان و نيز الگوي تحليل كنشگر گريماس براي تحليل ساختار اساسي كنشگري در مجموعه استفاده شده است. با ترسيم نمودار شماتيك كنشگران پي‌‌‌رفت‌‌‌هاي آغازين و پاياني نشان داده شده است كه مجموعه (تلويزيوني) به‌لحاظ روايي و گفتماني متمايل به گفتماني جبرگراست. مجموعه (تلويزيوني) با در مركز قرار دادن قدرت الهي در ساختار داستاني و نيز گفتگو‌‌‌هاي شخصيت‌‌‌ها به گفتمان كلي جبر نزديك مي‌‌‌شود و اين دال تمامي دال‌‌‌هاي ديگر را در جاذبه معنايي خود معين و بامعنا مي‌‌‌گرداند. دال‌‌‌هاي خواب، كيفرانگاري سختي‌‌‌ها و پاداش‌‌‌انگاري خوشي‌‌‌ها، تقديرگرايي، جامعيت نصّ ديني، نظم جهان و سنت اجتماعي در مجموعه (تلويزيوني) تاييد و دال‌‌‌هاي پرسشگري، روش تعقلي و فلسفي و نيز اثرگذاري ساختارهاي اجتماعي طرد شده و به‌طور كلي گفتمان فلسفي و نيز گزاره‌‌‌هاي اختيار نفي مي‌‌‌شود. به ارتباط هركدام از اين دال‌‌‌ها با گزاره‌‌‌هاي گفتماني اختيار در بخش تحليل داده‌‌‌ها پرداخته شده است.

The fundamental significance of free will and determinism in religion, and its role in peopleʹs daily lives, and the consideration of the media potential in capturing peopleʹs interpretation of the existential system of causes has led the researcher to answer this question: What kind of conceptual representation of free will can the audience receive from the serial Key to Mysteries. The first thing to offer is therefore a brief presentation of free will in Islamic thought and its signifiers which provide the possibility of the recognition of the antagonism between absolute determinism and absolute free will in the practical domain of our study. With adopting a representational theory approach, a combination of discourse analysis approaches has been used for analyzing the film dialogs relating to human free will and also Grimas Functional Model for analyzing functionalism structure in the film. A schematic diagram of initial and final stages of the serial shows that both its narrative and discourse are tended to a deterministic outlook. By bringing the divine power into focus in the overall structure and charactersʹ dialogs, the film shows a tendency to determinism so that this signifier attracts the others to itself and renders them meaningful. Signifiers such as dream, retributive nature of hardships, rewarding nature of joys, fatalism, and comprehensiveness of religious textual ordinances, cosmic order and social traditions are all endorsed, and on the contrary, those concerning curiosity, intellectual and philosophical methodology, and also the effectiveness of social structures are renounced, thus negating philosophical discourse and free will premises. The relation between each of these signifiers with free will discourse is discussed in data analysis section.
