The Element of Conflict in Nezami’s Long Poem, Khosrow and Shirin

حكيم‌نظامي در ادبيات فارسي به عنوان شاعر داستان‌سرا، يگانه استاد صاحب ‌سبك، در اين عرصه است كه سكّه ي فرمانروايي بر اين شيوه ي خاص تاكنون به نام او زده شده است. از آنجا كه داستان يكي از مهم‌ترين انواع ادبي در ادبيات نوين ملل جهان است، بررسي آثار نظامي از آن بخش‌هاي معدود ادب كهن فارسي است كه امروزه مورد اقبال بسياري از ادب‌ دوستان قرار گرفته است. در ميان آثار داستاني نظامي اكثر اهل ادب، منظومه ي خسرو و شيرين او را زيباتر و گيراتر مي‌پندارند؛ امّا اينكه، علّت اين برتري چيست، جاي تامّل دارد. كشمكش، يكي از عناصر اصلي داستان در مفهومِ امروزيِ آن است. در اين پژوهش ده كشمكش در داستان خسرو وشيرين نظامي مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است كه هر كدام از اين كشمكش‌ها در پيشبرد داستان، نقشي خاص دارند. بار معنايي و انديشگي داستان را كشمكش‌هاي ذهني برپدوش دارند كه حجم بيشتري از اثر را به خود اختصاص داده‌اند. نقش اصلي كشمكش‌ها در داستان، پيوند اجزاي آن و حفظ سَير منطقي حوادث داستان از حيث رابطه ي علّي است.

Hakim Nezami As a storyteller poet in the Persian literature is the master of an approach in this domain which is the reason why he is the master of this approach up to the present time. Since story is one of the most important literary types of today’s modern literature of the world nations, scrutiny and criticism of his works is of those rare parts of the classic Persian literature that many of the literati have paid attention to. Most of the literati prefer his Khosrow and Shirin to his other stories. But what is the reason for this preference? As conflict is one of the main elements of story in its modern concept, we scrutinize ten conflicts in this research, each one with their certain role in improving the story, according to their importance. Mental conflicts carry the meaning and thinking load of the story, possessing more of the content of the work. The main role of these conflicts in stories is to build a connection among the story elements and to keep the reasonable course of the events in terms of its reasonability bond.
