ديدگاه دانشجويان سال‌هاي پنجم و ششم دندان‌پزشكي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي زاهدان در مورد آموزش عملي و عوامل موثر بر آن

The Perspective of Fifth and Sixth Year Dental Students of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences about Practical Training and Related Factors

زمينه و هدف: در نظر گرفتن نظرات دانشجو، جز كليدي فرايند آموزش دندان‌پزشكي مي‌باشد. هدف از اين مطالعه، بررسي ديدگاه دانشجويان سال‌هاي پنجم و ششم دندان‌پزشكي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي زاهدان در ‏مورد آموزش عملي و عوامل موثر بر آن در سال تحصيلي 91-1390 بود. روش كار: مطالعه توصيفي- تحليلي حاضر بر روي 108 دانشجوي سال‌هاي پنجم و ششم دندان‌پزشكي زاهدان كه به روش سرشماري انتخاب شده بودند، انجام شد. پرسش‌نامه تغيير يافته كيفيت آموزش باليني (با روايي و پايايي تاييد شده) در ميان دانشجويان نيمه دوم تمام روتيشن‌ها در نيم‌سال اول سال تحصيلي 91-1390 توزيع گرديد و هر يك از دانشجويان ديدگاه خود را در مورد بخش حاضر در آن ثبت كردند. پرسش‌نامه شامل بخش‌هاي فرصت‌هاي يادگيري باليني، فعاليت‌هاي عملي آموخته شده و برهم‌كنش با استاد بود. حداقل و حداكثر نمره هر يك از بخش‌ها و نيز كل پرسش‌نامه به ترتيب 1 و 5 بود. ميانگين امتيازات بر اساس طبقه‌بندي ليكرت محاسبه شد. داده‌ها در نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 19 توصيف و در سطح معني‌داري 05/0 توسط آزمون‌هاي One way ANOVA و Independent t تحليل گرديد. يافته‌ها: ميانگين نمره كل ديدگاه دانشجويان، 87/0 ± 48/3 از حداكثر 5 نمره بود. بالاترين ميانگين نمره ديدگاه به ترتيب به ابعاد برهم‌كنش با استاد و فرصت‌هاي‌ يادگيري باليني تعلق گرفت. ميانگين نمره كل ديدگاه دانشجويان سال پنجم به طور معني‌داري بالاتر از دانشجويان سال ششم بود (032/0 = P). همچنين اختلاف معني‌داري در ميانگين نمره كل ديدگاه دانشجويان بر حسب سن (048/0 = P)، جنس (040/0 = P) و معدل (037/0 = P) مشاهده شد. نتيجه‌گيري: دانشجويان آموزش عملي را به نسبت مطلوب گزارش كردند. همچنين ديدگاه دانشجويان نقاط قوت و ضعف آموزش عملي را نشان داد.

Background & Objective: Considering student input is a key component of dental education process. The objective of this study was to evaluate the last two years students’ perspectives about practical training at Zahedan Dental School, Iran, and related factors in the academic year 2011-12. Methods: In this descriptive analytical study, 108 fifth and sixth semester students of Zahedan Dental School participated who were selected by census method. The modified clinical education instructional quality questionnaire (with confirmed validity and reliability) was distributed among students at the second half of all courses in first semester of 2011-12 academic year and each of students recorded his or her own perspective about the presented educational department. The questionnaire consisted of clinical learning opportunities, learned practical activities and interaction with clinical instructors. The minimum and maximum scores of each part and the total questionnaire were 1 and 5 respectively. Mean scores were calculated based on the Likert scale rating. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and independent samples test at the significant level 0.05. Results: The mean total students’ perspective score was 3.48 ± 0.87 of the maximum of 5. The highest mean perspective scores belonged to interaction with clinical instructors and clinical learning opportunities respectively. The mean of total perspective score of fifth-year students was significantly higher than that of the sixth-year students (P = 0.032). There was also significant differences in mean total score of students’ perspective in respect to age, gender and grade point average (GPA) (P = 0.048, P = 0.040 and P =0.037, respectively). Conclusion: Students reported practical training as relatively favorable. Students’ perspectives also determined the weakness and strength points of practical training.
