در قرآن، داستان نوح(ع)، موجز بيان شده است و اين ايجاز، اعجاز قرآن را ثابت مي‌كند زيرا خداوند خواهان قصّه‌گويي نمي‌باشد و هدف حضرت، عبرت آيندگان است وبس. ولي به دليل بسنده كردن به كليّات، در اين زندگي‌نامه، علمايي كه تورات، انجيل و ديگر علوم ديني را مي‌دانستند دست به كار شده، درصدد پر نمودن خلا ‌ها، به وسيله ‌داستان‌هاي ديني اديان مختلف برآمدند. اين امر باعث خيالي گشتن داستان انبيا شده، در نتيجه از قداست آن كاسته، امروزه اثرات مخرّبي بر پيكره اسلام و نيز شان پيامبران وارد ساخته است. وآنگهي كتب تفسيري به بسط و گسترش اسراييليات يا داستان‌هاي يهودي و نصراني كمك نموده‌اند كه از اين ظلمات مي‌توان آب حياتي چون كشف‌الاسرار را نام برد كه با پيرايش، راحِ روحِ خوانندگان خواهد بود. ميبدي در اين كتاب بي‌بديل تفسيري‌ـ عرفاني، خواسته نخواسته به ريشه، تيشه‌ رسانيده، هرچند در مقايسه با ديگر كتب تفسيري بسيار خويشتنداري كرده‌ است. شناسايي و جداسازي اسراييليات وارده بر داستان حضرت نوح(ع)ـ كه بر عرفان و تصوّف نيز موثرندـ، از اين تفسير عرفاني، هدف اصلي مقاله مي‌باشد

The story of Noah (peace be upon him) in the Koran has set forth very laconic. And this brevity proves the Koranʹs miracle. Because God doesn’t wish only to tell story. But his aim is posterityʹs lesson and nothing else. But for the reason that in this biography, God contentʹs to generality, the scientists that knew Torah, the gospel and the other sciences of religions, they started on a work and intended to fill this vacuums by religious stories of different religions. This affair has caused that prophetʹs story to become fanciful. And has lessened from its holiness aspect. And now a days, that produce a destructive effects to framework of Islam and prophetʹs dignity. Furthermore, the commentarial books have aid to expansion of Israiliat or stories of Jewish and Christian, that from this darkness can name a water of life like Kashfolasrar, that with expurgation, that book would become the joy of soul of readers. Meibody has begin the composing of his book in the year 520 Hejira. In this matchless commentarial and mystical book, willy-nilly he adzes to the root. If legendary stories expurgate from commentaryʹs of the Koran, essence of religious will take place without of any lateral accidents.
