برنامه ي درسي مبتني بر گردش علمي مجازي (‏VFT‏): توسعه ي فرصت هاي شغلي براي دانش آموزان ‏با ناتواني

Curriculum-Based Virtual Field Trips: Career Development ‎Opportunities for Students with Disabilities

  تغييرات زيادی در كشور ما اتفاق افتاده است. فن­آوری بر كارگاه­ها تأثير دارد و جمعيت چهره­ی كارگاه­ها، جوامع و محيط­های كار را تغيير داده است و جهانی شدن انتظارات بيشتری را از كارگران و بازار كار دارد. معلّمان و كارفرمايان برای اينكه يادگيرندگان را برای ايفای نقش­های جديد در كارگاه­ها آماده كنند، با چالش­های زيادی روبرو بودند. اين مقاله، به بررسی نظام آموزش و پرورش آمريكا و اين كه چگونه اين سيستم مي­تواند نيازهای كارگاه­های قرن21 را بهتر مهيا سازد مي­پردازد.   برای بخش خصوصی و دولتی چالش­هايی نظير اصلاح پيامدهای آموزشی در سطوح اوليه و پيشرفته و توسعه­ی فرصت­های مؤثر و عادی برای توسعه­ی شغلی وجود دارد. زمان برنامه­ريزی، گردش علمی برای نيروی كار، تجارب يادگيری با ارزشی را در زمينه جستجوی شغلی به همراه دارد و مي­تواند مزايا و فوايد پيش­بينی نشده­ی زيادی به همراه داشته باشد. به عنوان مثال برنامه­ی كلاسی به موقعيت دنيای واقعی ربط داده مي­شود. گردش علمی افراد با ناتوانی، برای دانش­آموزان و معلّمان مباحثی به­وجود مي­آورد كه شامل مباحث مديريت رفتاری، بحث فرآيندها و موضوع آمادگی مي­باشد. گردش علمی مجازی يكی از ابزارهای شناسايی شغلی است كه مي­تواند بوسيله فن­آوری ارتقا يابد. فن­آوری در 10سال اخير توان بالقوه­ای را به ما داده و باعث ايجاد تغييراتی عظيم در آموزش و تربيت نيروی كار شده است. برای بهبود و اثربخشی و مؤثر بودن يادگيری معلّم در موقعيت كلاسی مي­تواند از توسعه­ی گردش علمی مجازی كه مبنی بر معرفی شغلی بر صفحات وب است، استفاده كند. مي­تواند جوابگوی نيازهای آموزشی ويژه، برنامه درسی آماده سازی نيروی كار با نياز های ويژه ی يادگيرندگان خاص باشد و گردش علمی مجازی را به عنوان يك راه مفيد به معلّمان و دانش­آموزان پيشنهاد مي­كند در اين مقاله مراحل كلی و مراحل عمومی يك گردش علمی مجازی مبتنی بر برنامه ی درسی آمده است.

  Many changes are taking place in our country. Technology continues to impact on the workplace, demographics are changing the face of our neighborhoods, communities, and work environments. Globalization is placing greater demands on the economy and on workers. Educators and employers must face the challenge of how to prepare learners for new roles that they will play in this ever emerging workplace. In this context, consideration must be given to how the U.S. education and training system can evolve to better meet the needs of the 21st-century workforce. Challenges from the private and public sectors will include improving educational outcomes at the primary and secondary levels and developing current and effective opportunities for career development. When paralleling workforce preparation curricula, field trips are valuable learning experiences in the career exploration process and can provide unexpected benefits where examples talked about in the classroom can be related to real-world situations. For individuals with disabilities, field trips can create challenges for students and educators, including medical issues, accessibility issues, behavior management issues, and processing issues. Virtual field trips (VFTs) are one example of a time-worthy career exploration tool that has been enhanced by technology. New technologies in the next 10 years will offer tremendous potential to revolutionize the way education and training are delivered in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness in learning. The locations that a classroom teacher can use with professionally developed VFTs are limited to those presently posted on the Web, and these may or may not correspond to the specific instructional needs of a workforce preparation curriculum or to the special needs of specific learners. Teacher-created VFTs offer a number of advantages to workforce educators and students. The general steps for creating a customized curriculumbased virtual field trip are outlined in this article.
