ديدگاه اسلام نسبت به زن و خانواده همواره مبتني بر قداست و احترام بوده است. با بررسي روايات و تدبر در آن مي توان دريافت كه اسلام شخصيت ويژه اي براي زنان قايل شده است. نكاح نهادي عاطفي، اجتماعي و حقوقي است كه محصول آن زوجيت است. از جمله عناصر در پايداري زوجيت وفاداري بوده كه آيات و روايات متضمن لزوم وفاداري در مطلق پيمان ها و ضرورت پايبندي به همبستگي عاطفي در پيمان زناشويي، مهمترين ادلّه ي وجوب وفاداري به شمار آمده است.حسن معاشرت، رازداري، رعايت الزامات حقوقي چون نفقه و عشق و محبت نيز در تعميق و توسعه ي وفاداري موثر مي باشد. بدون ترديد وفاداري بستر شكل گيري اعتماد در روابط زوجين مي باشد

Islamic point of view has always been based on respect and consecrate regarding woman and the family. By profoundly reviewing the holly recorded narration it could be concluded that Islam has constantly attributed special feature for woman. Matrimony is an emotional, social and legal institution that is followed by couplings. One of the permanency components in the marriage has always been the fidelity that the holly recorded narration and verses connoted the necessity to fulfillment of a promise and of being faithful to affective interrelationship in marriage contract have been considered as the most significant sources for the fidelity essentiality. To be good companion, confidentiality and considering legal necessities such as alimony, respecting love and kindness are very effective to deepening and developing the fidelity. Doubtlessly the fidelity is the context for developing confidence in couple’s relationships.
