Unit curriculum Model Based on occupational competency (Recommended by the Board of Education for Exceptional children)

در دنيای تعليم و تربيت، اصطلاح «پودمان» يك متدولوژی است كه به تعيين ساختار برنامه درسی يا برنامه آموزشی يك دوره دراز مدت در قسمت‌های جداگانه مشخص، يعنی در پودمان‌های شايستگی كمك می‌كند. «پودمان» به عنوان يك واحد ياددهی مستقل بدون ارتباط با ساير واحدها نگريسته نمی‌شود، بلكه به عنوان مرحله و جزء لاينفكی از يك صلاحيت گسترده تر يا گروهی از شايستگی‌های (يك حرف بزرگ) نگريسته می‌شود، برنامه يك «حرفه بزرگ» می‌تواند به تعدادی از «پودمان‌ها» تقسيم شود. هر پودمان ممكن است به تعريف كم و بيش واضحی از شايستگی‌ها در يك زمينه شغلی خاص اشاره داشته باشد كه می‌تواند بسته به هر يك از نيازها از ساير پودمان‌ها به طرق مختلف تفكيك شود تا به شايستگی دست يابد به عبارت ديگر يك پودمان برخی قابليت‌ها و دانش، مهارت‌های عملی و تجربه عملی مورد نياز را به دست می‌دهد كه می‌تواند به سنجش و اخذ گواهينامه منجر شود. در هر حال اصطلاح «ايجاد پودمان» تداعی كننده فرصت اصلاح نظام آموزش فنی حرفه‌ای برای افراد با نيازهای ويژه است كه برنامه درسی آموزش‌های حرفه‌ای را با توجه به تقاضاهای بسيار متحول آموزش بينندگان، موسسات آموزشی و بازار كار بازسازی می‌كند. اصلاح طلبان آموزش فنی و حرفه‌ای ممكن است در ايران در رابطه با رويكرد پودمانی تنگناهايی پيش روی داشته باشند. تهيه برنامه آموزشی پودمانی مستلزم انطباق آن با نياز گروه‌های هدف كارآموز و جامعه بومی و ملی است. تنگناهايی كه اصلاح طلبان آموزش فنی و حرفه‌ای ممكن است در ايران در رابطه با رويكرد پودمانی پيش روی داشته باشند، مسائلی از اين قبيل هستند: صلاحيت مورد نياز تدوين كنندگان برنامه‌های درسی / انطباق موسسات آموزشی / انطباق فراگيران / انطباق مدرسان و مربيان / تهيه آزمون‌های عملكرد / ارتقای موسسات آموزشی كه در سطور زير به آن پرداخته شده است.

In the world of education, the term "Unit" is a methodology that helps the structure of curriculum or the educational program in a long term course and separate specific parts meaning "Competency Unit". "unit" is not looked at as an independent teaching unit without any connection to other units. It is, actually, perceived as a process inseparable of a more widespread competency or a group of merits (a big profession). The "Big Profession" can be divided into a group of units. Each unit more or less could be defined as the merits in a specific or special occupational field that can attain practical skills and experience depending on a be separated from other units in different ways to attain the merit depending on any of the needs. In other words, a unit will give some of the needed capabilities and Knowledge, practical skills and practical experiences that can lead to the assessment and achievement of a certificate. Anyway, the term "Creating unit" which gives the opportunity of improving the technical/professional education for those individuals having special needs and the professional training curriculum, needs and the professional training curriculum, is taken into consideration based on the needs that academic institutes and the job market re-creates. Reformers of technical/professional education in Iran might face some difficulties in regards to unit approach. Providing unit education requires adjusting it with the Needs of the group whose aim is to learn. The difficulties that reformers of technical/Professional education in Iran in connection with unit approach might be facing are: requied competency for those who plan the curriculum, coordination with the academic institutes, Co-ordination with students, Co-ordination between instructors and trainers, preparation of performance tests, the elevation of those Academic institutes which have conducted under those principles.
