بررسي چگونگي تقابل فرهنگ‌ها در ترجمه گفتار تعارف‌آميز با تاكيد بر ترجمه فرانسوي داستان مهمان مامان، اثر هوشنگ مرادي كرماني فريده علوي سويل زينالي تاريخ دريافت: 5/8/89 تاريخ تصويب: 29/10/92 چكيده ادبيات هر ملت، محملي براي شيوه‌هاي گوناگون بيان است و يكي از اين شيوه‌ها كه براي ايجاد تعاملي شايسته مخاطب به‌كار مي‌رود، گفتار تعارف‌آميز است كه نوع و شيوه‌هاي ارايه آن در هر زبان، با زبان ديگر، متفاوت است و افزون‌بر آن، اين شيوه گفتار، نمايانگر ويژگي‌هاي اجتماعي، فرهنگي و مذهبي ملت‌ها نيز هست؛ بنابراين، حفظ اين ويژگي‌ها در برگردان اين گفتار از زباني به زبان ديگر، يكي از مشكلاتي است كه مترجمان همواره با آن، مواجه مي‌شوند؛ زيرا بسياري از منتقدان و نظريه‌پردازان حوزه ترجمه، معتقدند ترجمه‌پذيري يا ترجمه‌ناپذيري متن ادبي، با توانايي مترجم در انتقال عوامل فرازباني، از‌جمله واقعيت‌هاي فرهنگي و باورهاي يك ملت، ارتباطي تنگاتنگ دارد. يكي از آثار ادبي و داستاني فارسي كه در آن، استفاده از گفتار تعارف‌آميز در‌چهارچوب آداب و رسوم ايرانيان، به‌خوبي تصوير شده، داستان مهمان مامان، اثر هوشنگ مرادي كرماني است كه در سال 2007 ميلادي، ماريبل باهيا آن را به زبان فرانسه ترجمه كرد. در اين مقاله، مسايلي همچون چگونگي برگردان گفتار تعارف‌آميز با توجه به ضرورت انتقال ابعاد فرهنگي موجود در اثر با تاكيد بر نظريه‌هاي ژرژ مونن، تاثير شناخت عوامل فرازباني در ترجمه‌پذيري اثر، انتقال و تعامل‌هاي فرهنگي ناشي از برگردان اثر، و چگونگي رفتار مترجم با پيچيدگي‌هاي زباني و معنايي اين شيوه گفتار را در ترجمه فرانسوي اين داستان بررسي كرده‌ايم. واژه‌هاي كليدي: ترجمه، گفتار تعارف‌آميز، تقابل فرهنگي، هوشنگ مرادي كرماني، ماريبل باهيا.

One such method utilized to create an appropriate transaction, befitting the addressee is Ta’aroff (Complimentary) discourse".Beyond the differences in type and manner of presentation of this kind of discourse in different languages, is the way it represents social, cultural and religious characteristics of nations. Consequently, preserving these features in translations form one language to another is one of the problems continuously encountered by translators. Many of the critics and theoreticians of the science of translation believe that the ability or inability to translate a literary text is closely related to the translator’s ability to convey trans-lingual factors, including cultural realities and beliefs of a nation. A Persian literary narrative which has finely delineated the utilization of complementary discourse within the framework of Iranian customs and‌ traditions, is the story Mummyʹs Guest (Mehman-e maaman), by HoushangMoradiKermani, translated into French by Maribel Bahia in 2007. The manner of translating complimentary discourse considering the necessity to convey inherent cultural dimensions in the work, with specific stress on the theories of George Mounin , the impact of acknowledging trans-textual factors in the ability to translate a text, conveyance and cultural transactions ensuing from the translation of the text, the manner of the translators encounter with linguistic and meaning complexities of this kind of discourse, are among the problems evaluated and discussed in the present study.
