AGENT BASED APPROACH AND IRAN DIPLOMACY IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR

اشغال و تقسيم ايران از سوي روسيه و انگلستان و فشارهاي هم‌زمان متحدين براي ورود به جنگ جهاني اول، چالشي بزرگ براي تصميم‌گيري كارگزاران ايراني در خصوص تامين حداقل منافع ملي محسوب مي‌شد. باوجود اشغال، قحطي، چند‌دستگي در تصميم‌گيري كشور و فشارهاي بين‌المللي، چه عواملي در حفظ تماميت ارضي ايران پس از پايان جنگ كارساز بوده است؟ اهميت ساختار بين‌المللي و نقش‌آفريني كارگزاران ايران، كدام‌يك بيشترين تاثير را در حفظ كشور از فروپاشي داشته است. پرسش اصلي پژوهش اين است كه چه عاملي به حفظ تماميت ارضي ايران كمك كرده و از فروپاشي آن جلوگيري نموده است. فرضيه تحقيق اين بوده كه نقش برجسته كارگزاران و عملكرد نخبگان سياسي در ديپلماسي، موجب حفظ منافع ملي ايران شده است. به اين ترتيب، مقاله پيش رو به بررسي اهميت سياست‌گذاران داخلي در حفظ تماميت ارضي كشور با اتخاذ اصل بي‌طرفي مي‌پردازد.
