بررسي تطبيقي فعاليت هاي فوق برنامه دوره ابتدايي ايران با كشورهاي آمريكا، انگلستان و مالزي

A Comparative Study of Extracurricular Activities in Primary Schools of Iran, America, England, and Malaysia

هدف اين پژوهش مطالعه ي تطبيقي فعاليت هاي فوق برنامه در مقطع ابتدايي ايران با كشورهاي آمريكا، انگلستان و مالزي، جهت ارايه ي پيشنهادهايي در حوزه فعاليت هاي فوق برنامه است. اين پژوهش از نوع مطالعات تطبيقي مي باشد و با استفاده از روش جورج بردي انجام شده است. كشورهاي آمريكا و انگلستان به اين دليل كه هر يك به نوعي مهد فعاليت هاي فوق برنامه در جهان بوده اند و مالزي نيز به عنوان كشوري مسلمان كه داراي فعاليت هاي فوق برنامه ي ساختارمند است؛ انتخاب شده اند. نتايج پژوهش نشان مي دهد كشورهاي مورد مطالعه در فعاليت هاي فوق برنامه اهداف مشترك و متنوعي را دنبال مي كنند، در ايران بر اهداف كلي و حيطه هاي نگرشي تاكيد شده است. كشورهاي منتخب بر آشنايي با مذاهب و فرهنگ هاي گوناگون محلي، منطقه اي و جهاني، درك ارزش هاي سنت هاي خود و ديگران و افزايش تحمل و سعه صدر در مقابل فرهنگ هاي ديگر و ... تاكيد دارند، اين اهداف در ايران كمتر مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. محتواي برنامه‌ها در ايران از تنوع كمتري برخوردار است و بيشتر به فعاليت هاي مذهبي اهميت داده شده است. تفاوت عمده ايران با ساير كشورها در اجراي برنامه ها، اين است كه زمان و ساعتي مشخص براي اين گونه فعاليت ها در مدارس پيش بيني نشده است، ميزان مشاركت معلمان دركشورهاي مورد مطالعه بيش تر از ايران است. ارزشيابي برنامه ها در كشورهاي منتخب به صورت عمل‌كرد دانش آموزان و گزارش كار مي باشد. در پايان اين پژوهش، پيشنهادهايي براي بهبود نظام آموزشي ايران در حوزه ي فعاليت فوق برنامه ارايه گرديده است.

Abstract This study aimed at comparing extracurricular activities in primary schools of Iran with those of America, England, and Malaysia in order to provide insights into improving the educational system in Iran especially regarding extracurricular activities. The study was comparative and benefited form Breai method. America and England were selected because they are the leading countries and among the most successful countries in extracurricular activities. Malaysia was also selected because as a Muslim country it has structured extracurricular activities. The results of the study indicated that the countries under study had various objectives in extracurricular activities. In Iran, most of the objectives are general and focus on the areas of attitude. The other countries focus on familiarity with different religions and different local, regional and global cultures, understanding the traditional values of one’s and others’ culctures, boosting tolerance in dealing with the opposite values, etc. But such objectives have been paid less attention in Iran. The extracurricular activities in Iran enjoy less variety and are mostly geared toward religious activities. The major difference between Iran and other countries in terms of practicing extracurricular activities is that there is no planning for the time of such activities in the Iranian schools. Furthermore, the teachers in other countries cooperate more in having such activities. Finally, evaluation of these activities in such countries is based on the students’ performance and work report. The study provides some suggestions for the improvement of the educational system in Iran in terms of extracurricular activities.
