ريزنشت لبه‌اي ترميم‌هاي كلاس V كامپوزيتي قبل و بعد از كاربرد ژل APF

Marginal microleakage of class V composite restorations before and after AFP gel application

  زمينه و هدف: مؤثرترين راه‌های پيشگيری از پوسيدگی دندانی استفاده از تركيبات فلورايد است. بعضی مطالعات بيان كرده‌اند كه، ژل APF باعث تغيير خواص فيزيكی سطحی مواد كامپوزيتی می‌شوند. لذا هدف از اين مطالعه بررسی تأثير ژل APF قبل و بعد از ترميم‌های كامپوزيت بر ريزنشت لبه‌ای بود.   روش بررسی: در سطوح باكال 45 دندان مولر، حفره‌های كلاس V طوری ايجاد شد كه مارژين اكلوزالی در مينا و مارژين سرويكالی در سمان قرار گرفت. در گروه اول ابتدا فلورايدتراپی، سپس تهيه حفره و ترميم توسط رزين كامپوزيت انجام شد. در گروه دوم ابتدا حفرات تهيه و ترميم شده، سپس فلورايدتراپی انجام گرفت. در گروه سوم حفرات تراشيده و ترميم شدند و فلورايدتراپی انجام نگرفت. ميزان نفوذ رنگ در لبه‌های اكلوزال و سرويكال توسط استريوميكروسكوپ چشمی مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. داده‌ها توسط آزمون كروسكال واليس و آزمون من ويتنی مورد آناليز آماری قرار گرفت.   يافته‌ها: بين سه گروه از نظر آماری اختلاف معنی‌داری وجود نداشت (975/0= P).   نتيجه‌گيری: فلورايد تراپی با ژل APF قبل و بعد از ترميم‌های كامپوزيت كلاس V تأثير معنی‌داری بر ريزنشت لبه‌های عاجی و مينايی نداشت.

  Background and Aims: The most effective preventing tooth decay method is fluoride compounds applications. Some studies suggested that APF gels caused changes on the superficial physical properties of composite. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the marginal microleakage of class V composite restorations before and after AFP gel application.   Materials and Methods: The class V cavities in buccal surfaces of 45 molar teeth were made in such a way that occlusal margin was placed in enamel and cervical margin in cement. In group 1, at first fluoride-therapy and then cavity preparation and restoration by composite resin was done. In group 2, at first the class V cavities were prepared and restored, then fluoride-therapy was carried out. In group 3, cavities were prepared and restored with no fluoride-therapy. The dye penetration rate in occlusal and cervical margins was examined by stereomicroscope. Data were statistically analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney test.   Results: There was no statistically significant difference between groups ( P=0.975).   Conclusion: Fluoride-therapy using AFP gel before and after class V composite restorations, had no significant effect on the microleakage of dentin and enamel margins.
