رابطه بين مهارت ارتباطي پرستار - بيمار با وضعيت ايمني بيماران در بخش هاي ويژه

Relationship between the communication skill of nurse - patient with patient safety in the critical care units

زمينه و هدف: تمركز روی ايمنی بيمار در بخش های مراقبت ويژه موضوعی مهم است و در اين بين يكی از مهم ترين عوامل مربوط به ايمنی بيمار، مهارت های ارتباطی بين پرستار و بيمار می باشد. اين مطالعه با هدف تعيين رابطه بين مهارت ارتباطی پرستار - بيمار با وضعيت ايمنی بيماران در بخش های ويژه بيمارستان های شهر اروميه از ديدگاه پرستاران انجام شد. روش بررسی: در اين مطالعه توصيفی - همبستگی، 167 پرستار شاغل در بخش های ويژه بيمارستان های آموزشی و غير آموزشی شهر اروميه با روش تمام سرشماری شركت كردند. جهت جمع آوری داده ها از پرسشنامه های روا و پايا شده ی مهارت ارتباطی پرستار - بيمار و وضعيت ايمنی بيمار استفاده شد و مهارت ارتباطی پرستار - بيمار ارزيابی و ارتباط آن با وضعيت ايمنی بيماران تعيين شد. يافته ها: اكثريت پرستاران شاغل در بيمارستان های آموزشی و غير آموزشی (به ترتيب 5/97 و 8/97 درصد) مهارت ارتباطی خود را در سطح خوب ارزيابی كردند. همچنين 6/87 درصد پرستاران بيمارستان های آموزشی و 8/84 پرستاران بيمارستان های غير آموزشی ايمنی بيماران را در سطح خوب ارزيابی كردند. بين مهارت ارتباطی پرستاران با وضعيت ايمنی بيماران در بخش ويژه رابطه معنی دار آماری وجود داشت (001/0>P). نتيجه گيری: با توجه به نتايج اين مطالعه پرستاران می توانند با بكارگيری مهارت های ارتباطی مناسب با بيماران بستری در بخش های ويژه، ايمنی آن ها را حفظ و ارتقاء بخشند.

Background and aim: Focus on patient safety in intensive care units is a major issue, and one of the most important factors related to patient safety is communication skills of the nurse – patient. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the communication skill of nurse - patient with patient safety in the critical care units of Urmia based on nurses point of view. Methods: In correlational descriptive study, 167 nurses working in intensive care unit educational and non-educational hospitals of Urmia, participated with census sampling method. Data were gathered using valid and reliable questionnaires including communication skills of the nurse-patient and patient safety and was evaluated communication skills of the nurse-patient and patient safety. Results: The majority nurses working in educational and non-educational hospitals, respectively (97.5, 97.8) evaluated their communication skills in good level. The majority nurses working in educational and non-educational hospitals, respectively (87.6, 84.8) evaluated patient safety in good level. The study results showed that there is statistically a significant relationship between communication skills of the nurse-patient and patient safety (P>0.001). Conclusion: Regarding to the result of this study, nurses can use suitable communication skills with patients that hospitalized in intensive care unit to maintain and promote patient safety.
