Investigation into the Methodology Used in the Book The Study of Political Movements in Iran

چكیده این مقاله با هدف نقد روشمند كتاب جریان‌‌شناسی سیاسی در ایران به نگارش در‎آمده است. بررسی شكلی، روشی و محتوایی اثر مهم‌‌ترین بخش مقاله است كه در حول نقد روشی و محتوایی آن تمركز یافته است. در متن، پیشنهادهای سازنده و توصیه‎های اصلاحی مناسبی برای بهبود ابعاد روشی و محتوایی اثر ارائه‎شده‎است. سرفصل این نكات به ترتیب زیر است: ضرورت بررسی انتقادی ادبیات موضوع، لزوم بررسی تاریخی و تبارشناختی مفهوم جریان‎شناسی در ادبیات سیاسی ایران، معرفی منابع علمی و آثار اصلی مورد استفاده برای نگارش جریان‎شناسی سیاسی و به طور كلی، توجه مناسب و پایبندی اصولی به معیارهای روشی در پژوهش‎های علوم انسانی كه متأسفانه در این متن توجه درخوری به آن‌ها نشده است.

This paper aims to systemically review the book “The Study of Political Movements in Iran”. The main part of the paper reviews the form, methodology, and content of the book, focusing mainly on method and content review. A number of constructive proposals and suggestions have been made in the text aiming at improving the method and content dimensions of the book. These points include the necessity to critically investigate the subject literature, the importance of historical investigation of the notion of “movements studies” in Iran’s political literature, the introduction of scientific research and major works used for writing studies of political movements, and in general, the appropriate attention and systematic adherence to methodology standards in human sciences research, which unfortunately have not been attended properly in this text.
