تعيين روايي و پايايي ابزار ارزيابي توانايي هاي دهاني- صورتي در كودكان داراي لكنت و بدون لكنت

Determining the Validity and Reliability of Orofacial Assessment Procedure in Stuttering and Non-stuttering Children

سابقه و هدف: تحقيقات در زمينه لكنت حاكی از وجود تفاوت های حسی و حركتی بين افراد دارای لكنت و افراد طبيعی است. از جمله آن ها می توان به تفاوت در توانايی‌های حسی- حركتی در ناحيه دهان و صورت اشاره نمود. ارزيابی و درمان ناتوانی های حسی حركتی نقش مهمی در درمان كودكان دارای لكنت ايفا كند. به اين منظور وجود ابزار استاندارد شده ضروری است . مطالعه حاضر با هدف تهيه نسخه فارسی و بررسی روايی و پايايی ابزار ارزيابی توانايی های دهانی- صورتی (The Movement, Articulation, Mandibular and Sensory awareness (MAMS)) در كودكان دارای لكنت و بدون لكنت صورت گرفت. مواد و روش‌ها: در اولين مرحله پژوهش ترجمه و معادل سازی ابزار ارزيابی دهانی صورتی M‏AMS به زبان فارسی صورت گرفت. سپس روايی محتوايی و صوری اين ابزار بر اساس نظر صاحب نظران تعيين شد. در مرحله بعد 20 كودك (10 كودك دارای لكنت و 10 كودك بدون لكنت) مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند و به منظور بررسی پايايی، از شيوه‌های باز آزمون و ضريب آلفای كرونباخ استفاده شد. يافته‌ها: تمامی سوالات موجود در ابزار دارای ترجمه آسان و 93 درصد ان ها دارای كيفيت مطلوب ترجمه بودند. كيفيت مطلوب و روايی محتوايی و صوری با اعمال تغييرات اندكی به طور كامل حاصل شد. همبستگی درونی كل ابزار برای همه كودكان 95/0 وگروه دارای لكنت و بدون لكنت به ترتيب 89/0 و 97/0 بود. ضريب آلفای كرونباخ برای كل ابزار 4/71 به دست آمد. استنتاج: نتايج حاصل از اين پژوهش نشان داد كه نسخه فارسی و معادل سازی شده ابزار ارزيابی توانايی های دهانی صورتی از روايی و پايايی قابل قبولی برای كودكان فارسی زبان برخوردار است.

Background and purpose: Some studies suggest motor and sensory differences between stuttering and normal subjects. One of these differences could be the difference in oral and facial sensory-motor abilities. Researches have shown that the assessment and treatment of motor and sensory disabilities can play a major role in helping stuttering children. This study aimed to investigate the validity and reliability of the Persian version of Orofacial Abilities Assessment procedure (MAMS) in children who stutter and non-stuttering children. Materials and methods: At first, the Orofacial Assessment Procedure (The Movement, Articulation, Mandibular and Sensory awareness (MAMS)) was translated into Persian and the content and face validity of MAMS was determined. Then 20 children (10 stuttering and 10 non-stuttering) were included in the study. To evaluate the reliability, the test-retest and Cronbachʹs alpha coefficient methods was used Results: All questions in MAMS had easy translation, and 93% were in ideal level. The ideal quality and content and face validity was achieved thoroughly by making slight changes. Significant correlation was seen in ICC for total score (P<0.002) and in test-retest scores for each parts (P<0.02). In addition, Cronbachʹs alpha coefficients were calculated for each section and showed the internal reliability was 71.7 to 1. Cronbachʹs alpha coefficient of 71.4 for the total parts was achieved. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the Persian version of MAMS has an acceptable level of reliability and validity in assessing Children speaking in Persian language.
