Learning, Mental Models and Economic Performance by Institutional and Cognitive Science Approach

بي‌‌‌‌‌‌‌شك از مهم‌ترين مسايلي كه علت اصلي مطرح‌شدن مباحث توسعه بوده، تلاش براي رسيدن از وضع موجود به وضعي مطلوب است. از سوي ديگر، كليد دستيابي به تغيير مطلوب در نوع يادگيري افراد است. از اين‌رو در مقاله حاضر با بهره‌‌‌‌‌‌‌گيري از شيوه مطالعه اسنادي، پس از بررسي اجمالي مباحث علوم و اقتصاد شناختي، به بررسي آرا و نظرهاي داگلاس نورث، در حكم يكي از انديشمندان نهادگراي فعال در زمينه بررسي تغييرات نهادي پرداختيم. پس از آن با بهره‌‌‌‌‌‌‌گيري از نظرها و مطالعات هوارد گاردنر، يكي از انديشمندان فعال در حوزه شناختي و مبتكر نظريه هوش‌‌‌‌‌‌‌هاي چندگانه، ديدگاه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌هاي نورث را نقد و بررسي كرديم. نتايج اين پژوهش نشان داد كه آرا و نظرهاي گاردنر در بسياري از زمينه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ها مانند اهميت فرايند يادگيري، تاثيرات آن در تغييرات و سيستم باورها مويد يا مكمل ديدگاه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌هاي نورث است، اما در پاره‌‌‌‌‌‌‌اي از جنبه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ها همچون توانايي يادگيري طي حيات و قبول شانس برابر يادگيري در شرايط گوناگون انتقاداتي را بر نگرش وي وارد مي‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌كند.

Undoubtedly, attempt to cross the status quo and reaching desired situations is one of the most important causes of raising these kinds of topics. On the other hand, the key to achieve desired changes lies on the type of individualʹs learning. Hence in this paper, by using the method of documentary study, after reviewing cognitive science and cognitive economics issues; we intend to review the opinions of Douglas C. North who is one of the well-known institutional scholars in the field of "institutional change". Then, criticize and review his viewpoints by using Howard Gardnerʹs ideas who is one of the famous cognitive scientists and the inventor of the Multiply Intelligences theory. The result of this study showed, although on many aspects like importance of learning process or its impacts on changes and also believes system Gardnerʹs opinions confirm or complete Northʹs attitudes. But in some viewpoints like ability of learning through the life and assuming the same chances for learning in various situations, he criticizes North attitudes, which are thinkable.
