تاثير ويژگي هاي جمعيتي كتابداران بر پذيرش فن‌آوري اطلاعات: موردپژوهي نرم‌افزار نمايه مديريت كتابخانه

The Influence of Librariansʹʹ Individual Characteristics on the Acceptance of Information Technology: A Case Study of Namayeh Library Management Software

هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسايي عوامل فردي موثر بر پذيرش نرم‌افزار نمايه مديريت كتابخانه در ميان كتابداران كتابخانه‌هاي عمومي شهر تهران انجام شده است. روش: روش پژوهش پيمايشي - تحليلي و جامعه آن شامل همه كتابداران كتابخانه هاي عمومي وابسته به نهاد كتابخانه هاي عمومي كشور در شهر تهران است كه تعداد آنها 131 نفر است. ابزار گردآوري داده ها پرسشنامه محقق‌ساخته است كه بر اساس نظريه اشاعه نوآوري راجرز تهيه شده است. براي تجزيه و تحليل داد ه ها، از نرم افزار آماري SPSS 16 در دو سطح توصيفي و استنباطي استفاده شد. يافته ها: يافته هاي پژوهش نشان داد كه بين ويژگي هاي جمعيت‌شناختي كتابداران و پذيرش نرم افزار نمايه مديريت كتابخانه توسط آنان رابطه معني‌داري وجود ندارد. همچنين، ميزان تمايل كتابداران نسبت به ادامه به‌كارگيري آن در حد متوسط بوده و تاثير مثبتي بر پذيرش آن داشته است. كتابداران رده سني 51 تا 60 سال (متغير سن)، كتابداران بيشتر از 26 سال سابقه (متغير سابقه)، كتابداران داراي سطح تحصيلي كارشناسي (متغير تحصيلات)؛ و كتابداراني كه در رشته هايي غير از كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني تحصيل كرده اند (متغير رشته تحصيلي) با بيشترين ميزان پذيرش، اين فن‌آوري را پذيرفته اند. اصالت/ارزش: با توجه به اينكه بيش از يك دهه است كه نرم‌افزار هاي كتابخانه‌اي در كتابخانه هاي عمومي ايران به‌كار گرفته شده و تاكنون تحقيقي كه به‌طور خاص تاثير ويژگي هاي فردي استفاده‌كنندگان را بر پذيرش يا عدم پذيرش اين فناوري ها بررسي نمايد، انجام نشده است. بنابراين، انجام اين پژوهش نتايج تازه و مفيدي را در اختيار برنامه ريزان، مديران و كاركنان كتابخانه هاي عمومي قرار دهد و بر مبناي آن تصميماتي صحيح در خصوص اصلاح، ارتقا ، ادامه، عدم ادامه و يا جايگزيني فن‌آوري و چگونگي به‌كارگيري نيروي انساني كتابخانه ها و آموزش آنها اتخاذ نمايند.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the influence of individualsʹ characteristics on the acceptance of Namaye library management software by librarians in Tehran public libraries. Methodology: This is an analytical survey project. The research population consists of all of the 131 librarians and the head of public libraries affiliated with the Public Libraries Foundation, in Tehran. Data was collected using questionnaire, and analyzed using both descriptive and analytic statistical methods in SPSS. Findings: The findings demonstrate that the demographic characteristics of librarians and their work experience do not have a significant impact on their acceptance of this technology. In addition, the librarians’ willingness to continue using the software appears to be moderate which significantly affects their acceptance of the software. According to the findings, librarians who are 50 to 60 years old; those who have more than 26 years of work experience; those who have bachelors degree qualification; and those who are educated in fields other than LIS, showed the highest acceptance rate for this technology. Originality / value: Library software packages have been used in Iran public libraries for more than a decade, but so far no study has been performed to investigate the effect of individualsʹ characteristics on the acceptance or rejection of these technologies. This study can provide new and useful results for planners, managers and the staff of public libraries that will help them to make the right decisions on modifying, upgrading, continuing, terminating or replacing alternative technologies. It can also help them to understand how to select the most appropriate staff for their libraries and how to train these staff.
