بررسي آپُريا در محاوره‌هاي تعريفي افلاطون

Inquiry to Aporia in Definitional Conversations of Plato

مقاله حاضر به بررسي اين مطلب مي‌پردازد كه چرا افلاطون در محاوره‌هاي تعريفي در نهايت به پرسش طرح شده پاسخ قطعي ارايه نمي‌دهد و به اصطلاح اين محاورات به آپُريا ختم مي‌شوند. به اين منظور نخست ريشه شناسي اين كلمه را مورد بررسي قرار مي‌دهيم كه بنا بر آن مشخص مي-شود آپُريا به معناي دشواري است كه شخصيت هاي ترسيم شده در محاورات در پيدا كردن پاسخ پرسش مطرح شده، بدان دچار مي شوند و در دست‌يابي به پاسخ نهايي راه به جايي نمي‌برند. سپس، به طور اجمالي بررسي مي‌شود كه آيا آپُريا نتيجه شيوه بكار گرفته شده، اِلِنخُس، در اين گروه از محاورات است يا خير. در ادامه، امكان‌‌هاي متعددي در رابطه با تفسير آپُريا طرح مي شود و مورد بررسي قرار مي گيرد. سرانجام، در تحليل نهايي بيان مي شود كه اين وضعيت انعكاسي است از وضعيت فكري و فلسفي يونان كه افلاطون آن را در محاوره هاي تعريفي منعكس مي كند.

The present article considers why Plato, in definitional conversations, finally don’t give a definitive answer to the question which is introduced in this class of conversations, and why these conversations are ended to aporia. For this purpose, first, we seek the etymology of this term, and then, it is concluded that, aporia means a trouble, in which the characters of the conversations, in finding answer of question, get themselves. Then. It is shortly considered that whether or not the aporia is the result of the method used in this class of conversations, i.e. elenchus. Moreover, several options are proposed in relation to the interpretation of aporia. In the final analysis of aporia, it is expressed that this situation is a reflection of the intellectual and philosophical situation in Greece, which Plato echoes in the definitional conversations.
