Haj-Agha Noor-Alla Najafi’s and Shahid Modarres’s measures to defend the Iranian security

مقاله حاضر ديدگاه مرحوم حاج آقا نورالله نجفي و شهيد مدرس را در مورد دفاع از امنيت ايران مورد بحث قرار مي‌دهد. پرسش اصلي اين است كه مرحوم حاج آقا نورالله نجفي و شهيد مدرس در امنيت ملي ايران چه نقشي داشتند؟ نتيجه بررسي در جواب پرسش مذكور اين است كه مرحوم حاج آقا نورالله با تاسيس شركت اسلامي و تاكيد بر داشتن قوه حربيه قوي در امنيت اقتصادي و نظامي ايران نقش عمده‌اي ايفا كرد. شهيد مدرس با حضور در صحنه تحولات سياسي اجتماعي ايران و مبارزه با بيگانگان و همچنين مبارزه با واگذاري امتيازات به بيگانگان همانند قرارداد 1919 و سياست موازنه عدمي در امنيت سياسي ايران نقش تعيين كننده‌اي داشت.

The present paper elaborates on the viewpoints of Haj-Agha Noor-Alla Najafi and Shahid Modarres on defending the Iranian security. The main question is what roles the late Najafi and Modarres played in defending the Iranian security. The results of the study show that the late Najafi played an important role in the economic and military security of Iran by setting up an Islamic company and insisting on establishing a forceful power. Shahid Modarres, too, played a crucial role in the Iranian political security by being present in the arena of the Iranian socio-political developments, fighting against the foreign enemies and against granting concessions, such as 1919 treaty, to them, and the policy of non-existing balance.
