نقد روايتي درباره نشانه‌هاي بي‌عقلي

Critique of a Tradition concerning Signs of Lack of Wisdom

در میان روایات مربوط به نشانه‌های عقل، روایتی به نقل از امام صادق (ع) ‌به چشم می‌خورد كه بلندی ریش، نقش انگشتر و كنیه فرد را نشانه‌ای بر كشف عدم عقلانیت او معرفی می‌كند. در این مقاله ضمن بررسی سندی و متنی این روایت، به دنبال كشف گوینده حقیقی این سخن و احتمالات مختلف در مورد منشأ و گوینده اصلی این روایت و دلیل وجود آن در برخی منابع روایی هستیم. از نتایج این مقاله، ناهمگونی آن با سایر روایات مرتبط و تشكیك جدی در صدور این روایت از معصوم (ع) است. به نظر می‌رسد این سخن، متأثر از فرهنگ عرب، وارد كتب روایی شده است.

Among the traditions concerning the signs of wisdom, there is a tradition related from Imam al-Ṣādiq (A.S.) introducing the person wearing a long beard, the signet of his ring, and his nickname, as indications of his lack of wisdom. While examining the sanad and text of this tradition, the article seeks to find out the real source of this saying and the various possibilities about the source and the main utterer of this tradition and the reason for its existence in some ḥadīth sources. One of the conclusions of this article is the inconsistency of the above tradition with other related traditions and the serious equivocality in the issuance of this tradition from an Infallible Imam (A.S.). It seems this saying has entered into the books of ḥadīth under the influence of Arab culture.
