A Review of Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity

در اين مقاله مروري بر ارتباط بين ديابت نوع 2 و چاقي خواهيم داشت و به نقش انواع چاقي و ژنهاي مرتبط با آن در ايجاد بيماري ديابت نوع 2 اشاره خواهد شد. بنظر مي رسد كه زندگي مرفه و سرشار از مواد غذايي پر كالري جوامع امروزي سبب ايجاد مشكلات فيزيولوژيكي متعددي گشته و در نهايت موجب تغيير سطح بيان تعدادي از ژنهاي مسيول كنترل متابوليسم و تنظيم وزن بدن مي گردد. واضح است كه تغييرات ژنتيكي نقش بسيار زيادي در سازگاري انسان با شرايط محيطي جديد ايفا مي كند. با توجه به اهميت چاقي در ايجاد اختلالات متابوليكي و نقش اسيدهاي چرب آزاد خون و چربي احشايي در مقاومت به انسولين مي توان نتيجه گرفت كه ارتباط تنگاتنگي بين چاقي و ديابت نوع 2 وجود دارد و بررسي عوامل منجر به چاقي در سنين اوليه عمر و سالهاي ابتدايي نوجواني نتايج بهتر و دقيق تري در درمان افراد بيمار خواهد داشت.

Here in this paper, we describe the relationship between type 2 diabetes and obesity including different types of obesity and its genetic predisposition. Several physiological conditions that are capable of changing the level of expression of numerous genes involved in metabolic pathways, energy production, and regulating body weight, are created due to the expansion of our modern society and abundance of caloric foods. It appears that a variety of genes could participate in adaptation of human body to its revolutionary limitations. Therefore, due to the importance of obesity in relation to metabolic disorders by increasing the visceral adipose tissue, induction of higher level of free fatty acids in the blood and insulin resistance, we conclude that there is a close relationship between the obesity and type 2 diabetes and further genetic analysis in juveniles and at early ages could give a better insight of the occurrence of obesity and it’s treatment.
