بررسي تطبيقي ماهيت روح‌القدس وكاركردهايش از ديدگاه فيلون و پولس

A Comparative Study of The Holy Spirit and Its Functions from Philo’s and Paul’s Perspectives

چكيده در‌اين مقاله ماهيت روح‌القدس وكاركردهايش از ديدگاه فيلون و پولس بحث مي‌شود. از نظرفيلون روح‌القدس يا روح الهي صرفاً وسيله ارتباط خدا با انسان است و تنها كاركردش‌، نبوت و پيشگويي است؛ كاركردي كه در سنت يهودي هم وجود داشت. همچنين فيلون روح الهي را كه مطابق نص كتاب مقدس‌، موجب نبوت است‌، با جذبه يا تصرف الهي در فلسفه افلاطون تركيب مي‌‌‌كند‌. به نظر مي‌‌‌رسد روح‌القدس از ديدگاه وي نوعي فرشته است، اما روح‌القدس از نظر پولس شخصي واقعي است كه برخوردار از اراده‌، احساس و محبت است‌.كاركردهاي روح‌القدس همان است كه در عهد عتيق آمده؛ البته پولس آنها را بسط داده است. پولس براي روح‌القدس ثمراتي چون محبت‌، صلح وآشتي، بردباري و نيكي به ديگران قايل است‌. آنچه مهم و شايان ذكر است معناي جديدي است كه پولس به روح‌القدس مي‌‌‌دهد؛ او اعتقاد به روح‌القدس را در كنار اعتقاد به خداي واحد يهودي و اعتقاد مسيحي به مسيح قرار مي‌‌‌دهد و در واقع زمينه را براي شكل‌گيري آموزه تثليث فراهم مي‌‌‌كند.

Abstract The present paper is an attempt to discuss the nature of The Holy Spirit and its functions from the viewpoints of Philo and Paul. According to Philo, The Holy Spirit or The Divine Spirit is only an instrument through which God communicates with man and its only function is prophecy; a function which was part of the Jewish tradition. He also combines The Divine Spirit, which is the cause of prophecy based on the Holy Scripture, with divine inspiration or possession in Platoʹs philosophy. But according to Paul, The Holy Spirit is not only an effective power ,but it is also considered a person with agency, feeling and emotions. The functions of The Holy Spirit are the ones mentioned in the Old Testament. In fact, Paul has expanded them. He holds that The Holy Spirit has effects such as charity peace and beneficences. What is important is the new meaning which Paul gives to The Holy Spirit. He cites the belief in The Holy Spirit along with the Jews’ belief in one God and the Christian belief in Christ. In fact he paves the way for the formation of the doctrine of trinity.
