Explaining the Social Development of Children with Visual Impairment Problems from the Perspective of Attachment

زمينه: داشتن ارتباطات اجتماعی مناسب از مهم‌ترين مؤلفه‌های شخصيت سالم است. همه نظريه‌ها و مكاتب روان‌شناسی درباره اهميت ارتباطات اجتماعی بحث كرده‌اند. دلبستگی يكی از برجسته‌ترين مفاهيم روان‌شناسی معاصر است كه به فرايند شكل‌گيری پيوندهای عاطفی اشاره دارد. روابط كودك با مراقبان در سال‌های نخستين زندگی به تشكيل الگوهای روانی ويژه ای منجر می‌شود كه مبنای روابط بين فردی در بزرگسالی است.  نتيجه گيری: مشكلات بينايی با محدود و دگرگون كردن دامنه تجربه‌های كودكان بر روی توانايی حركت به اطراف، ميزان كنترل محيط و ارتباط با آن، رشد شناختی و عاطفی اين گروه تأثير منفی می‌گذارد، بنابراين فقدان فرصت برای تجربه كامل در محيط، می‌تواند رشد شخصی و اجتماعی كودك با آسيب بينايی را با كاستی‌هايی رو به رو كند و به احساس بی‌كفايتی، وابستگی، عزت نفس پايين و سرانجام به مشكلات رشد اجتماعی، عاطفی و فردی منجر گردد. در اين مقاله تلاش شده است تا با مروری بر ادبيات حوزه نابينايی، چگونگی رشد اجتماعی كودكان با آسيب بينايی از ديدگاه دلبستگی بررسی شود.

Background: Social communication is a so important component for a healthy personality. All of the approaches and theories in psychology talked about the importance of social communications. Attachment is the most striking concept in contemporary psychology that Refers to the process of shaping emotional bonds. The interaction between the child and the mother shapes a special internal working model that is a base for Interpersonal relationships in adulthood.  Conclusion: Vision problems limited experiences of children and reduced their ability to move around and environmental control and communication, so it can affect negatively on cognitive and emotional development, therefore, lack of opportunity to fully experience the environment can affect the social and personal development of children with visual impairment and lead to incompetency, dependency and low self-esteem. This paper has attempted to review the research literature about the social development of children with visual impairment from the perspective of attachment theory.
